Why is it yesterday I was at 165.5 and today I am weighing in at 167.5???? I just don't get it...maybe I should just stay off the scale...NOT completely but not everyday either. Well my husband gets his test done today and I wont be able to be there with him :( he doesn't mind but I do. We just can't afford the extra gas and I don't know where I am going in the city. He will keep me posted he is always real good about that stuff. Please send good thoughts and prayers his way. Thank you all very much.

Wow Elke...I was reading your journal and you have done fantastic with all the stress you have been under.....Good for you! Hope things get better.

Kind of know how you and your DH feel about the riding thing since me and my DH both ride and I wouldn't want to have to give that up for anything....especially since its something we do together. I hope everything works out for both of you and you'll be in my prayers.

Elke,
I'm so happy for you maintaining! You're doing SO WELL!

I'm so sorry to hear about the layoff! Hopefully they offered COBRA so he can still get his tests done? Let us know!

I know this is a stressful time, but you will get through it! Let us know what's going on!

I rode my 883 Hugger Sportster for several years...had it all chromed out, fatbob tank on it, drag pipes, drag bars and it was the chevy sunburst orange color...it was very pretty, but wanted something bigger, so last year I got the Dyna Street Bob and love it. I thought I loved my Sportster until I rode that. My buns are very happy on my Dyna...I can go on long rides and don't go numb. My husband has a 2003 Fat Boy which he has turned into look more like a heritage...he's making it look Old School. We love it! What kind of bikes to you guys have?

My husband had the 03 Fatboy...thats what I learned on...I dropped it to the left, dropped it to the right and he went out and got my a 04 1100 Yahama V-Star custom....MAN I LOVE THAT THING....I have been on some long rides with her and love every minute of it!! Right now its a bit cold to ride and bot I miss it. I thought I wanted a sportie once till I sat on it...didn't like the way they fit.
My husband is...er I mean was having a bike built...can't stop it completely but it is on hold till he gets another job. I hope its soon cause I am going NUTS!

My man has an interview in the city today for a Vet. Tech....his trade. Please pray that if its right he will get the job.
Most of you know that we has a young man living with us...my second son's best friend...his mother gave us some money so my man told me to get a months worth of MF....so I did!
Now my goal is to be at my goal at the end of that months food....then I will maintain like I have been doing now...I am bouncing up and down 3 to 5 lbs...then I will focus on the toning up for a few months and go from there. But first I need to loose like almost 20 lbs...now that I see the # I'm not sure if that is doable...we will see.

Doing the "good luck getting the job" dance for your hubby. It's very similar to the Snoopy Dance, but is sometimes effective!
