Hi everyone. I woke up late this morning and had a yummy banana pudding/shake with apple-cinnamon soy crisps mixed in!! I add 6oz of water, the banana pudding and fill the magic bullet to the top with ice. The added a glug of white chocolate davinci syrup and mixed and whipped. Finally, I took a pack of the apple-cinnamon soy crisps and mixed them in with a spoon. IT WAS BETTER THAN AN OREO MILKSHAKE.

Thanks to Sherri Clark in Dayton, Texas- I have bars this weekend!!! Due to a shipping mix-up, TSFL could not get me the box of bars I needed for the weekend so I started searching for a health advisor in Houston. My health advisor, Bonnie, lives in Oregon. Well TSFL did not have a resource that could assist with this, so Bonnie suggested that I post a request on SWAP topic on makemethinner.com. Sherri immediately replied that she was close to me. YEAAAAAA!!!!! :kool:

I met her close to my home and she had 2 boxes of bars and some samples of the soy crisps!!!!!!!!!!!!THANK-YOU SHERRI!!!!!! I ended up having to cancel the trip I was planning last night, so I am home. But it just goas to show the bond that the MEDIFAST family has. WOW, incredible.

I also wanted to say thanks to all of the people that have welcomed be back to the program. It seems like whenever I am getting an email saying that I have a reply it’s some cool member saying hi and welcoming me back. Again, thanks to all of you.

Anyway, since I woke up late I had my make up meal at 1:00 PM CST, and since all I had were the CHEDDAR SOY CRISPS, I had to improvise. I had another banana pudding shake, then I mixed the CHEDDAR SOY CRISPS in..............hmmmm.............it actually tasted eclectic!!!! It was really good if you were wondering!

I may add to this later.

Good Morning...

Well Back on Medifast for this week and I am down 6 pounds. I actually started last Tuesday, so not quite a week. With these results??? Excellent!

Since I am certain that some of you are wondering who I am and why I am on the forum...here goes.

I started MF more than a year ago in May of 2006. I had just had a check-up and I had high blood pressure, and my triglyceride count was at 700!! My doctor put me on several different triglyceride lowering medications which did nothing more than make me violently ill. I was trying these medications for a month, then I told the doctor I could not handle the illness anymore. She told me the only way for me not to have a heart attack within the near future was to lose weight.

I looked into a very trendy liquid diet here in Houston at the Methodist Hospital. The cost was prohibitive. It was about $1000.00 per month, for 6 months. NO WAY!!! So I found this forum through GOOGLE. Got hooked up with Bonnie and Steve Wills, and they explained to me that Medifast was a worthwhile program and to go ahead and try.

I did try and within 4 months I had dropped 80 pounds. :yay: I started at 325, and went down to about 232 or so. My waist went from a size 42 to a 34. My shirt size from XXL to L!! I was really happy with myself, but I never did get to my goal of 185. As far as the cost of MF? Well, after close analysys, I discovered that after cutting out the grocery shopping, the fast-food and lunches at the company full-service cafeteria.....Medifast has only cost me roughly an extra $70.00 per month. Now how's that for cost effective!

As life would have it, I fell away from Medifast in December,2006. Since then I have gained about 40 pounds. I got to the point where the new clothes I had purchased did not fit well at all. So here I am.

I started last Tuesday, and plan to continue this time until I hit 185. I am planning a trip from Houston to Clakamus, Oregon to meet my heath advisors in the coming months, as they have been invaluable tools to my progress.

My advice to anyone starting MEDIFAST for the first time is that it works! The results are evident almost immediately. This forum, and the support you will fine here is one of the keys to success. You have to have a strong support system. Nancy and her crew have this thing down. You will make it!!!

I just wanted to bring everyone up to date, because I have had some curious MF'ers here with inquiring minds!!! Have a great Sunday....I am going to have lunch with my parents in Galveston today, which is about a 30 minute trip from where I am. I will ride my NINJA 500RR SPORTBIKE!!!

Well I am officially started AGAIN (after gaining back about 60 pounds over the last year.)! Yesterday I had 1 MF meal every 2 hours to get into the groove. Today I am starting on the complete program for 9 additional days, then I will implement the 5 and 1 program for the remainder of the 3 month period that I need. I am drinking about 3 liters of water a day so far, and yesterday I felt bloated after not drinking water for so long! I SURE HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAS A GREAT DAY! I AM SURPRISED THAT BONNIE PUTS UP WITH ME!!!! THANKS BONNIE AND STEVE FOR BEING THERE.
