Would the recipe work for Blue Hake Loin fish fillets? I have like a whole box of this fish and I am afraid to grill it...

Progress

Postby eddieHoustonTX » June 14th, 2009, 5:29 am

I have made significant progrsss since I re-started MF. One thing that I started to do with this order was order enough crunch bars to have 3 per day for the convenience at work, and not having to leave my desk. I usually have peach or blueberry oatmeal at 6 AM, bars at 9, 12 and 3, then I have lean n green at 6 and final shake or whatever at 9. I was skeptical because the old bars (called maintenance bars now) had too many carbs per bar to have 3 per day. Well I completed the second week using the bars and have made marked progress. By the way, the chocolate crunch are my favorite, they are divine!! I ordered every flavor of bars except lemon crunch so if you are wondering about how any of them taste ask me and I will let you know. I ordered the antioxidant shakes and the dark chocolate is really good along with the cherry/pomegranate. The blueberry shake is good but the other two have to be my favorites.

i had to order like 10 boxes of the s'mores bars. but, i agree with you. a lot of the reason i finally got back on plan was because of the bars. they are easy and tasty, but they don't trigger binging for me. good luck, eddie!

I totally admire that you drink the powdered shakes....I can't take them. The bars do rock! I just recently tried the Caramel Crunch (yellow package) and they are yummy! I just wish that they wouldn't melt in the heat. I don't like the strawberry or lemon, so the only non-melty one is the fruit and nut.

Thanks for saying that, Sooner! I was trying to think what bars I could take on my Florida trip that would survive the heat - now I know - fruit and nut!

I'm glad you're doing so well, Eddie. The bars are wonderful - I have found though that when I'm having an especially hungry day, the shakes fill me up better. But since most of the time on MF you're not hungry anyway, the bars are perfect for convenience (and I love that they are not a million dollars like the RTD shakes are).
