Wow! Thanks for all the :heart: Valentines!! :heart:

Mike got me a dozen fuschia roses -- my favorite color (actually, the extreme versions of pink are my favs). He wanted to surprise me, but forgot that he'd left them on the bookcase in the hall . . . and I found them!

I got him (us) tickets to a movie we've been wanting to see and dinner reservations at one of our favorite Italian restaurants (Pasta Pomodoro) afterward. I also got some of Mike's favorite "legal" snacks, wrapped them up in a gift bag and gave them to him before the movie started.

But WAIT!! That's not ALL!! On SATURDAY, we took ballroom dance lessons!!! The Waltz! Oh, my gosh!! It was amazing!! There's just something about having to be totally tuned in to your partner. . .and next thing you know, you're gliding across the dance floor in his arms. . .

..::swoon::..

Ok, here's my frustration: I've made it through about a dozen journals -- maybe -- and I'm DONE mentally!!! And it FRUSTRATES me!! :x I haven't even read back in most of them to figure out the current topic.

This just isn't my medium.

I know the feeling!! If I'm not in here every day there is just no way to catch up and feel good about it!! So, no worries, I doubt anyone gets their feelings hurt as I imagine it happens to ALL of us!

It's always good to see you and I love your uplifting posts! They're such an inspiration to me - Thank you!! :)

Big hugs to you! Take Care!

I agree, I don't usually have the time to check back on people's journals every single day, so I try to catch as I can and not get too hard on myself when I can't keep track of everyone! *hugs*

All in love of course.

You guys are too kind about the pictures -- I wasn't feeling great, wasn't wearing make up, blahblahblah. But SOJO!! Wowza!! How gorgeous can one person be?!?

I went through another round of sinus issues -- it's a whole new level of understanding and compassion. This wasn't cold, virus stuff --it's bacterial and painful and sets off a chain reaction of issues that sends me running back to the doctor for ANYTHING that will knock me out. I've got the sinus wash kit and I'm working up the nerve -- I keep saying I'll do it in the morning in the shower. But what if I drown myself before school and I don't have sub plans written?? The specialist says surgery. My nurse practitioner is all for me trying everything else first (my stance, too, but what if I drown??). I'll tell ya, though, after round 2, if there's a round 3, I'm not putting the surgery off 'til summer!

It was fantastic having Terry and Nancy (and Jaime Castro -- he and his effervescent wife Lisa are new Global Directors) in the area. We had a great time in Stockton, and visiting Old Sacramento, and meeting here in Benicia. We had our entire Health Coaching team together, even the folks from out of state! (Of course, our team has grown since then, so we need a new picture already!) I learn SO MUCH every time there's an opportunity to interact with the Take Shape for Life leaders. We contribute most of our success to the guidance, training, support and encouragement we've gotten primarily from Nancy and Terry, but also from Dr. Andersen (TSFL co-founder and Medifast Medical Director) and Dan Bell (a lead TSFL architect).

OH! At the doctor's office, despite my racing pulse from the pain, my blood pressure was an impressive 122/81. Quite a change from last May when they kept me there for almost two hours to get it down before letting me go home (can't remember the top number, but the bottom was something like 113).

Sorry to hear your not feeling well, my mother had the surgery and it really did a miracle for her sinus's. Terrific that your BP is down too!
