Hi Katie!
Didn't quite make it to my ticker weight by roll call, but I hope to tomorrow (my one week anniversary of my final restart)!

Keep shakin' everyone!

Hi, Dedee! I remember reading your journal on my first round of MF last year. I always appreciated your bright attitude and great advice!

I lost about 40lbs last round and started feeling better about myself - and then drifted off track. So now I'm back for MF, round 2! I'm glad to see you here! We're on our way to final goal! :D

Yay for FINAL RESTART!!! You are doing great.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Start Weight 326.7 ~ My short term goal will put me at 250!

Started June 19th 2008. First Mini Goal 76.7 pounds.

Hi

Postby dede4wd » September 3rd, 2008, 1:29 pm

Well, this week wasn't huge (2lb loss), but I didn't get enough water or space my meals right because of a really hectic race weekend. I'm happy to have any loss and will work on the water, meal spacing and measuring better on the road!

Hope everyone is doing well...let's keep shakin!

Hey, 2 pounds is 2 pounds better than nothing. And better than I ever lose in a week. Good job!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » September 19th, 2008, 1:45 pm

Well,
Life happens. I think I'll be back to my ticker weight by roll call. I've been maintaining pretty well, but have been having too much of what's allowed. Stupid stress.

Am refocusing.

Hi

Postby dede4wd » October 3rd, 2008, 2:07 pm

Hi guys, I haven't had much to report. After many starts and stops and what seems like weekly slips, I'm pleased as punch to report that I have FINALLY gotten myself back into the 180's! I clocked in at 189.0 and am thrilled! I'm 2 lbs away from hitting the 80# club! YAY!

I'm kind of bummed I haven't dropped a size yet, I feel like i've been in the same size for 20-25lbs, but my body shape is different than when I was at this weight last time. I'm losing weight in weird places, like my cankles, but I'm losing it, so I can't complain!

Congrats!! But I've SEEN your legs, in pictures, anyway. You do NOT have cankles. Come to Texas, and I'll show a pair of REAL cankles. Sigh.

Ha. I wear boot-cut jeans for a reason. Thighs, small. Calves and so-called ankles? Abnormally large.

Hi

Postby dede4wd » October 5th, 2008, 1:48 pm

I was hoping the scale fairy would do her magic an put me into the 80# club by roll call, but no luck.

I went to the hockey game and ended up buying one of their chicken salads (at the low low price of $8.75). So no telling what kind of salt or other stuff was in it. But...at least I didn't have pizza or nachos, right? Making the best choice I can in situations is one of the things I'm so happy I'm learning! Next game I'll eat before and after, I was just so busy getting a project done before the game, that I was behind on meals, needed something and didn't do too bad! Yay me!

I don't feel like I only have 30 pounds to go. Last time I had 30lbs to go, I was in a smaller size. This time it seems I'm spot-losing. My face and clavacles and below the knee seem to be at goal weight, but the middle, looks the same as it did 20lbs ago. Sounds to me like a good reason to not have another last time and just finish and concentrate on maintaining!

Thinking about it, there's a chance I could be celebrating the new year very near goal, that's not that far away, I can DO this! If I fall, I'll get up QUICKLY and not let a slip last more than one 3-hour meal period! I'm ready to be concentrating on maintenance!

Hope everyone has a good week!
