Timing question

Postby BlackSandz » April 12th, 2005, 1:18 pm

Aloha,
I am 3 days in & need to loose 50 lbs (following an illness w/ 50 lbs of meds weight gain) doing the 5+1.
I have cut back my workouts by about 3/4, hence my getting up so early, which I look forward to. Additionally, being 3 days in, I havent seemed to be bothered by still working out --- of course with the 3/4 cut back :jumprope:
I have looked around the forum posts looking for someone who has a really early schedule like mine... can't seem to find one, so here it is:
3:45AM - Up
4:00AM - Shake & multi vitamin
7:00AM - Shake
10:00AM - Shake
Noon - Soup/oatmeal/chili
3:00PM - Bar
4:15PM - 5:15PM - nap time - gotta be able to spend time with Family
6:00PM-ish - Dinner (L&G)
9:30/10PM - Bed
h2o - over 100 oz a day.
Is this going to work? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Aloha,
BlackSandz

Welcome to the forum BlackSandz,
Your schedule looks good. Don't be afraid to have an extra shake or meal replacement after your lean/green, if you're feeling hungry before beddie.

Welcome, BlackSandz ~

Yeah, you ARE an early riser. My sheets are barely warmed by that hour...

Your schedule looks very good except, I wonder if you might need something at bedtime. If you feel any hunger or fatigue, you may consider having another shake or oatmeal serving just before you slide under the covers.

You may very well feel ok at this point in your weight loss program coupled with your exercise plan but it very well may not be the best for you at this point in your program. As long as it is cut back to half your normal intensity and duration, you will most likely be just fine.

You have your meals spaced out very well - good job!!

Aloha to you, too! :ukulele:
