It's nice to have such wonderful support here!

It's 7pm right now in California, I am doing just fine. I did not go crazy over wanting my son's food when I fed him dinner, or want to eat his Cheerios that are in the pantry. Today, I did not tell myself that "I can't have sugar, I can't have any food I want." It made a difference. So when I saw food that I wanted, I did not crave it even more because I couldn't have it (I always want what I can't have). Instead I told myself, I could have it if I want to, I can eat whatever I want to, however, today, and only for this one day only, I am choosing to do MF. Not because I have to, but because I want to. Once I took the restriction off of myself, I felt empowered, and that made me feel good and more in control, and thus more able to decide to stick with MF for only today.

Great Job Cindy. I think you just found out, what is going to work for you. I know how hard it is to have your sons favorite foods around. Be strong YOU SO ROCKED IT TODAY.

Yay! Get that stuff out of the house that you think about eating, it makes it easier when you get the temptation to eat, does your little guy like any other cereal besides Cheerios that you don't like?

Today is my birthday and I told everyone no birthday cake and I made plans to go to the beach with a cooler stocked with water, RTD's, 1 bar, just in case and some organic broccoli in a baggy with a little container of my balsamic vinagrette to dip. The crunch is good for you!
So glad you got over the hump and once you start losing on MF the lbs will be melting away.

No worries about chit chatting here!

I no longer have to be perfect at MF! And once I decided this, it became so much easier. I love telling myself I can eat that candy if I want to. Previously I would tell myself when I was tring to start MF, I can't eat any junk food, I can't have any candy. But now that I continue to tell myself I can eat it if I want to, I find myself feeling good about empowering myself and giving myself choices, and as a result, I am choosing not to eat the candy. This feels good. Who knows if I am going to do MF tomorrow, heck, I could binge all day tomorrow for all I know, and I have that option to binge if I want to. Today I am CHOOSING to only consume MF products, and H2!!!!!o

I am relaxed, I didn't have to eat candy to get this way. I did another day of 100% MF, again!!!! It feels great. I don't know about tomorrow, maybe I will eat junk food, maybe I won't. I will figure it out as I go along. I just know that right now I am not eating junk food!

I'm a bit stunned, today is day 4 of 100% MF!

Today at work I had one of my 15 year old clients with me during lunch time. I told him I would buy him lunch, he wanted fast food! Ugh! How was I going to survive this one? I decided I was going to say screw it and eat, then I decided I didn't have to do that. Instead I graciously gave myself permission to eat if I wanted to, and then I no longer wanted to. He ate his greasy food and I told myself maybe sometime in the future I will come back and get some greasy food for me, but not right now. Right now I am choosing to not eat it. Tomorrow might be different, I might eat junky food tomorrow, who knows. Right now I am choosing to stick to MF.

Good for You CJ

When having that type of attitude you are going to rock this program. And also once you lose all the weight that you want to lose, you might not even want that greasy food. :D

Well today I was invited to my sister's bbq. I was wondering how am I going to get out of it. I don't want to be around all of that food and not eat. I am doing the 6/0, so I don't have a lean and green meal to use. I also don't want my family knowing I am doing MF. I don't do as well when I have somebody watching me, it's like I get performance anxiety. It's not a secret either, but whatever.

Anyway, I did not want to miss out on a family function since we rarely have them. I decided to go and I decided I was going to eat tomorrow and go off the plan. While I was at home this evening with my kid, I decided that since I am going to eat tomorrow, why wait until then, why not just enjoy some food now, what does it matter?

I ate junk food.

Oh well, it is over with. I did it, it is in the past. And yes, tomorrow I am going to still eat at the bbq. If I make it back on MF, then good, if I don't make it back, then that's okay also. No matter what happens, I am okay and I will be okay. Sure, I would love to be slim tomorrow, but I am not going to be.

well, you are right, it IS in the past. you are right, you will be ok. However, you have to have the mindset that you WILL get back on MF. We would all love to be slim tomorrow but we didn't get overweight overnight nor will we get slim overnight. It takes work AND dedication. When you want it, and i mean REALLY want it, it will come. Enjoy your family time at the BBQ. You have already made up your mind what you are going to do but I still would like to add what my suggestion would have been:

Yeah, you are doing the 6/0 but it would not hurt you to do a 5/1 for the day of the bbq (or for the entire plan for that matter). You could have eaten compliant foods without your family knowing what was going on.

I hope you will choose to get back on plan with us. Good luck.
