This brings up an interesting question that just has me really curious.

Is there a difference in using canned chicken broth vs bouillon cubes?

Just curious

They're apparently the same, except bouillon is dried and has more sodium.

Hmmmm,
Check out the labels. Bouillon cubes are 0 calories, 0 fat but 1070mg of sodium. Non-fat canned chicken broth is available. I generally have a can or so lurking around but not today. So check out the label and see if it's pretty close to the same. I know some canned chicken broths are full of fat.

Swanson's chicken broth, per web site:
1 cup
10 calories
0.5 gram fat
960 mg sodium

Swanson's Natural Goodness chicken broth has no fat and 570 mg sodium but 15 calories.

Hmmm,
Sounds fine to me. But remember that's 10 or l5 extra calories per cup so it most likely will have to be counted as a snack.

All the broths would count as a snack on MF. I like to use canned FF broth for cooking but the powdered type for drinking.

the dried has more flavor, plus sodium is one of the reasons for drinking it. Warning, don't take a big swig of it after it gets cold! YUCK
