Not so good.

I got off program that saturday of my b-day(the 8th). I stayed off because I was leavng for Mexico the next Thursday(the 13th). I know, I wasn't justified. :hammerhead:

I then started again yesterday (Tuesday) and stayed compliant until tonight when I had Black Angus with my mom.
I am ashamed especially since I have restarted like 3 or 4 times.

I need to get some RTD because a lot of my problem is that I'm in the car most of the day (I'm a Real Estate Consultant) and when I don't have cold water or a microwave, thats when I end up grabbing something because I'm sooo hungry. :wallwall:

I guess I amaze myself because I want this so bad but don't follow through more than a couple days. BUT, I have the strength to get up every morning and go work out. :fence: It's a battle within myslef.

Michelle ~ Try not to get too discouraged. Losing weight is totally a head game. You've got to just make the decision that you WILL NOT eat off plan no matter what and then do whatever you have to do to follow through. When I'm out running errands and I really want to hit a drive-thru, I just remind myself that even though I'm hungry, I'm not going to physically die if I don't eat right now. I'll have some water or a diet soda and then plan for the next time so I won't be caught off guard.

I believe in you ... You can do this!

Michelle

I am glad you told us about your struggle. You are not alone in this. I can not tell you how many times I started over and had excuses for stopping.

One of the things that has helped me is that I carry in the car an extra bar, two RTD's and crackers. That way if I go somewhere and I am detained I have no reason to be so hungry that I go off the plan.

The other thing that you have to do is decide why you want to lose the weight and if you really want to lose weight bad enough you will then become committed to do it without cheating. It really is a battle like you say (in your mind).

We have all fought this battle - the winning is the best part. Once you start noticing your weight loss it gives you even more courage to stay on the plan.

Missanne I totally know how you feel. :( I've had a rough couple of days eating off plan and felt I was in a tail spin. :wallwall: I've never been able to last on a diet very long. I've now been Medifasting for almost 5 weeks. I finally admitted I needed help last night and emailed Jan. Almost as soon as I hit the send button Jan was on the phone. She told me what I needed to hear and today I start anew. I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone in your struggles. We're in this together.

For the cookout you can bring some marinated chicken kabobs for your lean and green. They're delicious on the grill and nutritious. I love grilled vegetables. MMMMMMMMMM...
