I'm baaaaack. Hello everybody. Now that I have my daughter's graduation, my vacation and other festivities behind me, I am ready to start the progam again.

I know how crucial it is to make it through the first three days. I start tomorrow. I know it is time for a change. I have been miserable with all of this excess weight. I have also been eating so much of the wrong kinds of foods that I feel sluggish and tired all of the time.

I'm excited to start a brand new journey on the way to a healthier weight.

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome back. I have had a wonderful day so far. This is how it looks:

10:30 am - oatmeal

1:30 pm - oatmeal

4:30 pm - bar

7:00 pm - chicken breast & spinach

I have two more meals to go and I need to squeeze those in.

Ali.... how late do you sleep in?

Make sure you have your first one within an hour of getting up. It gets the body going and you don't have to try and squeeze em in later. ;)

Hi Mike,

I get up at 8:00 am. I have to be at work at 9:30. I usually have my first meal at 9:30 when I get to work but we had a meeting this am. I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things at work after vacation. I had my other shake at around 8:30 and now I am trying to get the pudding down. Uggghh, I am not having much luck. I made it too thick and gritty. At his point I think I will get to bed. I made it past day one!!

I will have breakfast first thing in the AM. Thanks Mike!!

When I make it too thick, I just add a little more water and stir it more.... just stir until it looks right. Pudding is tasty, but sometimes its more work than I am up too... I don't have it very often.

Have a great day tomorrow.

IN HK when I didn't have a spoon on me and we were on the go, I started drinking chocolate pudding like a shake. Not bad at all.

At the beginning of the program I didn't like the pudding but now it is my food of choice for my last supplement. I feel like I'm getting to eat a tasty dessert each evening when I have it.

What I do is to put the packet into a soup type of mug (wider/bigger than a coffee cup) and add 6 oz of cold water. I use a wire whisk to beat it for 30 to 60 seconds (I bet I never make it to 60 seconds). Sometimes I pop the mug into the freezer for 10 minutes or so.....and then enjoy. The pudding didn't turn out well until I began using the 6 oz of water (versus 4 oz) and using the wire whisk to mix it.

I hope you'll find a difference in how it turns out if you whisk it and use a bit more water. :)

Keep your eyes focused on your goal! :)

Thanks for the pudding tips!! I made it past day two but it was difficult. This is how my day went:

9:30 am - oatmeal

1:30 pm - chicken noodle soup - somehow over cooked it and half of it spilled over in the microwave - slurped up what was left as I barely had time to take a lunch today

3:30 - bar

6:15 - 1 oz no salt dry roast peanuts (snack on the way out of work)

8:30 - chopped steak with mushrooms & cottage cheese on a bed of lettuce & tomato (selected from the low carb healthy menu of the restaurant)

That was my day. I know this is not a flawless start to the program but life happens. I had to play catch up at work today and squeezed in a break for lunch. I also attended a funeral after work and went out to eat with friends afterwards. I managed to make a healthy choice, at least it was low carb. I have decided to give up my "all or nothing" type of thinking and make healthy choices when necessary and keep on going.

Before I started this plan, I would have told myself, I messed up, I went off the program so I might as well eat anything I want for the rest of the day and start again tomorrow. No longer my way of thinking. I want a lifestyle change and that begins with realizing that every day will not be perfect. I am surprised that I had enough food today to sustain my hunger. My typical day is filled with fast food and sweets. I figure the MF products are giving my body the nutrition I need and I had a satisfying dinner to top it off. I'm feeling great!!

Allie, I'm so glad you are here and doing the program. Just keep going, do the best that you can do and pretty soon it should become easier to get in the supplements and drink your water (I still struggle some days with getting sufficient water, darn it!). As you see those pounds and inches melt off your body it will become so much more fun (yep, fun) to stick to program so that you can continue to see your body morph into the healthy and fit body you are dreaming of having!

Keep journalling and keep going on the program!! I'm excited for you!

Thanks Twanda. It's so nice to be able to come in here and have this kind of support. One really good habit that I have is that I drink lots of water. I always have. I take four 16 oz bottles of water with me to work and they are usually all gone before 2 PM. Then I continue to fill up the bottles from the water cooler and drink throughout the day. You know I have an addictive personality but water is a good addiction. LOL
