I started program on 01/19/06. Since then I have lost 10lbs. Which is nothing to complain about. But I do have a question and I would really appreciate if someone can help me out. I noticed that they say women should be using the MF55 shakes, but when I ordered I received the MF70 shakes is this going to be a problem or slow down my weight loss? The quick start guide says the MF70 is for men or women who want more protein in their plan. I just want the plan that is best for me. But I'm not quite sure if I should be on the 55 or 70.

Thanks,
Amy

p.s. I love this board. I have been reading and rereading posts everyday just for the motivation. :D

Hi Amy! Sounds like your weightloss is awesome! You might want to call your health advisor & ask why you're on MF70. It could be a mistake or you told them of a health condition. I'm sure Nancy, Unca or Jan will help you.

Yeah, the difference is in the protein, but is everything they sent you the 70 or just one box. It oculd be a mistake, but I doubt it will harm you any. Active women are told to use the 70, so I cannot see where it would be harmful. I see your concern, though. I would just call up the help nurse number and be armed with some ammo before calling to ask for a replacement order or returning anything.

55 vs 70

Postby Jan » January 29th, 2006, 12:12 am

Hi There,
There is not a terrific difference between the MF 55's and the MF 70's.
The 55's have 11g of protein and 90 calories. The 70's 14g protein, 100 calories. So, if you use three shakes each day you'll be getting 30 more calories and 9 more grams of protein using the 70's. We generally have men and active women use the 70's because of the extra protein. Actually soy is a natural appetite suppressant so you're just getting a little more. That can be a good thing :D You should be fine -- everything is so low in calories that the 30 extra most likely won't affect anything. And remember you aren't changing the balance. Next time unless you are a very active lady just order the 55's.

Thanks for your answers. I just wanted to make sure it won't throw me off terribly. I feel like I have tried every other diet on the planet and this is my last chance to get rid of this weight and get healthy. I will make sure I get the 55's for my next order.

I got the trial pack to start, $98, and got the 70's also. I don't know why, but when I reordered I switched to the 55's. I really think those deals are all pre=packed and use the 70's just for ease of shipping....but that's just my theory. ;)
So keep on shaking, this diet does work! :D And welcome!!!!
