Ok here for the update, No smoking at all, Stress did get to me a bit today but I got through it with my Husbands help and hugs. He stuck around to give me support. :) I am very tired so I am going to sleep EARLY for a change.
Didn't do to good on mf today, I was upset about it but my DH said its OK because I am dealing with another monster, and that is to not smoke anymore. I still have NO cravings or wants to smoke, I do THINK about it but don't want it or crave it so I think the laser treatment does work so far. We will see how I do in the morning, It's another day. :) Will keep busy with laundry and painting outside. :)

Check in later! Goodnight.

Update: :) Still NOT smoking! Have no craving for it at all & I am so glad. I smoked for 18 yrs and This laser treatment works. So far so good.

As far as how does it work, They use the laser on presure points, The ears, The Back of the Neck & the top of your head. Something it does it puts your "cells" back to the state before you knew what addiction was. Therefore Not having the withdrawls of not smoking. I am not joking, I have not had any headaches, shakes, heart pounding ect. NOTHING. I am just trying to stay busy and keep my hands busy so that I don't THINK about smoking because of the hand mouth thing.

Done Not so good on MF. I am not beating myself up for it as I am just pleased that I haven't smoked. I have also been able to go to sleep before midnight and wake up early. This hasn't happend in many yrs. So this I am also happy for. I will get my MF back on track soon.

Hope everyone else is doing well. :)

Good for you! You will be a healthier person (and you will smell better too <img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_111.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D10%252F10_1_111/image.gif"> ) Take it one step at a time and when you are ready you can get back on the MF wagon. What a wonderful decision you have made for yourself (and your family)!

Thanks so much MerryMerry! I am so happy to have made the choice to quit for ME. I didn't have anyone putting preasure on me to quit I made that choice myself when I felt right to do it and do it for ME. And also the thought of my first grand-baby coming into this world come Novemeber 25th this also helped me in my quitting. I do know that I will get back on my MF program soon, I am just not beating myself up for it right now. Taking one day at a time. :)

That was a big motivator for me, too. Watching my grandson play and not being able to get down there with him was so sad. Hey, it only took me a little over 3 years to get started, lol. Now, we're such buddies and we do everything together. We always go on a walk when I'm there.....just the 2 of us. It's become our special thing. We play cars on the floor and crawl around all the time. It's great and so worth it.

Good Morning to All! :)

I am still Not smoking & have Not thought about it. YEHAW! I am just so happy with how this has worked for me.
Lastnight I was laying in bed thinking how well this has worked for me that I also said to myself.........."If you can quit smoking after 18 yrs and NOT cave in after just a few days, then Why can't you do MF and stick to the plan?" SO I am back on MF as of this morning, I had my Oatmeal and water, I will keep on track today and NO cheating. I did this for smoking & I will do this for my weight! I can and I will!

Will check in later.

You are doing so awesome, and your comment about the being able to stay off ciggies after 18 years should lead to your ability to stay on MF, was exactly how it worked for me!

I quit smoking after 12 years, in April of 2005, and it really wasn't that hard of an experience. When it stuck, and I didn't pick up another cig, it dawned on me that perhaps I really was stronger than I gave myself credit, and that maybe, just maybe, I could get a handle on the food issues too. I used the confidence from quitting smoking to fuel my confidence on the MF plan. You can do this too, using both to fuel the success across the board!

It's awesome, what you're doing for yourself! As I used to say all the time on this forum, take pleasure in being able to go to sleep at night feeling totally proud of yourself. There's a whole lot of joy in that.

Thanks so much lauren! I just really feel so Different today, IT is so hard to explain. I always doubted myself and thought I wasn't worthy or didn't have any will-power. I always put myself down, and this morning I told myself I am worth it and I can do this. It is a wonderful feeling! I have tears just thinking about how I truly feel right now and knowing that I can do this for ME and be happy for ME.

Totally weird I know, but I LOVE this feeling I have today. I hope it sticks around for awhile. :)
