Will be starting next week!

Postby Freedom » May 13th, 2006, 9:57 am

Hi everyone! I just ordered my first month's pack, and it should be here this week! I'm so excited. I ordered the sample pack- everything was pretty good (except the apple oatmeal! Yuck! And I like oatmeal.).

:bounce:

My name is Frances, and I live in Maryland. I'm 27 and weight 310. I've been doing Weight Watchers on and off for almost a year, have lost 35 pounds.

I want it to go a little faster than that, and I'm tired of counting. :bricks: I looked over the MF maintenance plan, and am so impressed! It totally makes sense as a life change. I'm looking forward to succeeding without obsessing! I want to retrain my body about nutrients and energy.

I'm so excited! I can't wait for it to come! :felix:

Welcome to the team Frances!

This is a great place for support and assistance while on the Medifast program.

:goteam:

FYI - you might want to check out the "Lean Cuisine" area of this forum. There are lots of great ideas to make the meals more flavorful.

Welcome you are going to love it. I have tried WW also probably along with most the people on this forum and I can tell you this is MUCH better. No counting just 5 MFs and a L/G and you are good to go. Oh and don't forget the water. One ? have you checked with your physician yet? I am sure it is fine I just always like to be on the safe side :)

WELCOME :)

Hi Frances,
Don't get rid of all your oatmeal. It will get better!!! Your tastes will be changing as you go and who knows it just may turn out to be one of your favorites  Plus of course, there are lots of ways to "fix" it up :D Keep posting and let us allllll know how you're doing. This is a great group who are dedicated to helping each other along the weight loss journey. Welcome!!!

Thanks for the welcome, everyone!!

My doctor has given me the a-ok for basically anything short of surgery (he's been my doctor since I was young). He says I'm pretty healthy overall.

First day was not so bad! I don't like the swiss mocha, but I *love* the orange pineapple! What a great treat! The F&N bars are really good, too. Overall, I'm still really excited and pumped. I know I'm going to get the ehadaches and fatigue- I went off sugar and had a headache for 5 days, but it wasn't too bad! Getting my water won't be a problem, either, I'm ahppy to report! I got a new bottle that has 64 ounces in it, and I just mindlessly drink it. I went through 45 ounces in about an hour this way!

Even got some exercise going back and forth to the bathroom! LOL!

I can't wait to "officially" weigh in...but I've already lost a half a pound. LOL! Yay for water weight! It makes every new endeavor worth it! LOL!!!!

Thanks again for the welcome!
