Day 73

Monday, Monday So good to me. Monday, Monday It was all I hoped it would be......

Sorry wrong thread....but I have the tune stuck in my head and can't seem to get it out. It just seems apropos for me this morning. I check in with 3 different people on Monday morning for my various "Biggest Loser" contests that I have going. So far I am leading all of them by large margins....though I love just piling it on. :twisted:

Weekend was good...actually got to play a little golf...though I spent a good chunk of the weekend with my head stuck in a computer installing a new 300GB SATA hard drive. Anyway I digress....I was compliant through the weekend and I am finding that I don't hate them like I used to. Early on I hated to go home on Friday, and I couldn't wait for Monday to come so I could get away from all the temptations of the weekend. Since I eat my L&G for lunch through the week and primarily buy it every day...I find it is nIce on the weekend to grill a piece of salmon or tuna and some asparagus for a meal. Speaking of which...if anyone has a Macaroni Grille near them they have this on their menu (grilled salmon and asparagus). A tailor made L & G for a MF'er...just stay away from the bread and it is all good!

So here's to another good week...looking at my schedule I have a few challenges ahead, but overall it should be an easy run down the compliance highway.

Idle thoughts...

Why does a 10 minute job take 3 days?
I would make a terrible proctologist...I have very poor depth perception.
When driving with a child (or with anyone for that matter) when they say they are going to be sick...PULL OVER. Or your next stop will be to a gas station or car wash to clean up a mess.
Bare feet + dark room + lego's on floor = 4 letter expletives

and oh I almost forgot...

My muffin tops are shrinking!

Second one....Any parent who has to get up and pee a million times a night needs to outlaw legos. Oh and little army men they hurt just as bad!

Day 75

Yes folks we had a SV this morning the second digit was a 6 which means I am closing in on the 60# club. You know when I hit the 10# club I kinda felt like it was taking a seat out of a stadium. Now I fee like they removed a whole section! I know there is at least one person out there that is wanting me to post some in-progress pics. I have been holding off doing this mainly because I don't have any full body pictures taken at my starting weight. I did do a couple of self portraits after I dropped my first 20#, and then a few more 20# later. So here is the deal....start the ticker watch. When I hit the 70# club (got about 14lbs to go) I will post my pictures. Everyone can keep me accountable...okay at least 2 people can keep me accountable, since that is the exact number of people that cracked yesterday's yadda puzzle and PM'd me. And one lucky person even found out the true identity of my screen name! Anyway...the week is going well and I am trying to inject a little exercise into my day. Went for a brisk walk last night for about 35 minutes, my goal is to do this daily.

Daily Musings
French fries no longer hold a sexual attraction for me.
When a 4 year old tells you he is going to perform a round house kick...gentlemen protect yourselves.
When a 12 year old begs you for a pet, and swears that he will take care of it daily...use caution.
Again, when do you think it is appropriate to answer your cell phone in a job interview. (sorry to repeat but it happened to me again yesterday!)
And a happy hump day to all....just hope everyone is on the side of the "hump" that they want to be on! :lol:

And for that one lucky person yesterday that knows my true identity....remember the agreement....my agency doesn't look to kindly to those that leak secrets!

Day 76

Thurday....we are gtting there....holiday weeked is in my sights and I can't wait. Though I am going to work on Monay for a half day. The week is going by splendidly for the excetion that I am eating way too uch salmon this week. I have had it 3 times and tomorrow may make four. I now that they only recommend that you have salmon once or twice a week due to the mercury content. Oh well...I am sure a ew extra pieces of salmn can't take much that the 80's didn't take aleady. Seem like it is taking for ever to get down to the 60lb lub. I just want to hit the next miestone so I can move on. The scale jst dosn't seem to be moving much his week. Maybe I need to lok at just weighing yself 3 times a da and not 10. I am seeing some reall nice NSV's many people at work commet on my loss but it is a hot topic since I am embroiled in a wager with a co-worker and he is failing miserably. Can't eat french fries and pizz for 8 weeks and expect to try and beat me in the last 4 weeks. I have way too much omentum! Well tomorrow is Friday and if the weather decides to cooperate I have 18 appointmnts set up for the afternoon. So if I don't get a chance to post in the morning....hope all you losers have a great weekend!
