Walking?

Postby danawigs » June 7th, 2006, 7:24 pm

I am wondering...it is ok if I walk daily? I have been on MF since 1/06 and I have lost 50lbs and I just love the program. I have had a few set backs but I will lose the weight this time. I love reading the forum it has helped me many times. Can't wait to talk with others.

I don't see why you can't walk. You have been on it a long time and you have lost weight, I think walking would be good for you. Great stress reliever too :)

Hi, Danawigs.

I think walking is great! AND it fits perfectly with the Take Shape for Life's BeSlim(tm) philosophy. Nancy's posted it somewhere -- it's an acronym.

Breakfast
exercise
Support
low fat meals 5-6 per day
individual plan
monitor

So, yes!! Walk!! :stroll: It's a key to successfully living at a healthy weight. (This is second had knowledge at this point -- I look forward to saying this is part of what I do to live successfully at a healthy weight.)

Walking is a great way to get things going after you hit a plateau or get a little unmotivated. I started walking after the 3 -4 week and try to get in a couple miles a day.
