I wanted to tell all of you how much I appreciate everyone in this site. I am starting on Monday, will take any advice on product. I will be posting a photo every month until goal. I weigh 256, I am hoping to look much better by August, doable???? Let me know, I am meeting a special friend I have not seen since 1991.

Welcome to the forums! We're glad you're here and starting out. Why don't you go ahead and register for the site (it's free) and then unca can add you to the pound clubs when the weight starts falling off you!
The weight loss section has the most advice, the lean cuisine section has the best food and the elevator and the weight room are for inspiration, success stories and failures (which you won't have!)
I have a "friend" I'm going to see in July whose socks I need to knock off, so I know that's a GREAT motivation!

Welcome!!! This is the best forum you could ever run across and includes the best people around. I kind of have the same goal as you. I am going to visit my family on the east coast in August and want to wow them because they have never seen me smaller than a size 16. WE CAN DO IT!
