The speed appears to be back to normal tonight, but I've thought that before, only to have it revert back to its slow-as-molasses ways. I hate getting my hopes up, though I did read that Unca is hoping to have the server issue resolved over the weekend. Yay!!! I'm going to visit one of sisters in Monterey this weekend, so it should be all better by the time I return, yes?

OMG, I've SO missed being able to log on any time I have a few minutes. I've missed everyone so much! There are a couple of newbies I've not been able to intro myself to, as well. Holy Moly ~ that Maisy girl is a HOOT!! Crazy Maisy, uh-huh.

So ~ I've been totally OP since my re-start. Things are just swell. DH and I celebrated our 7th wedding annie last Mon, and though we do not typically exchange 'gifts,' I gifted him with a promise this year. That is, to not deviate until I reach goal. No matter what, this time.

Here's part of what happened when I crashed and burned:
It's pretty difficult to articulate, but I got it all twisted up in my head that I was trying to lose weight while my BIL was valiantly fighting to keep every ounce that he could hold onto. What made me go there was that we started at the same weight and my goal weight was what he'd lost down to... and then beyond. I know! It was a totally different situation - mine was a healthy weight loss, while his was not. But, like I said, it got all weird in my head. I didn't even consciously think about it; I just pushed it all away. It was as if I thought I was somehow being insensitive to, or disrespectful of, his plight by losing weight. Stoooooopid. And I'm a dad-gummed PSYCH major!!!

Well, I woke up before I'd gained it ALL back, at least. I don't know how much I actually packed back on because I refused to step on the scale... and still have not. My restart date was Feb 24th, and I am not going to weigh until April 24th. Hopefully, by then I'll have shed it all and then some. It's all good. Those jeans that I'm wearing in the pics Mike posted are waaaaay too big now ~ and they were really tight then. So, yay! I'm not quite back into the size 9 juniors I was wearing, but I'll get there. Hells Bells! I have to be at goal by October so that I can be Mama Patron in Savannah! Ay-yi-yi, y'all!!
