9 days until closing. I'm anxious...I need to order more supplies, as I'm dangerously close to being out.... (dangerously close = 2 weeks or less)......

I've decided not to weigh in again until the end of the month. I'm shooting for 50 pounds by the end of the month, which is certainly doable, but I'd like to see the jump from 38 pounds to 50 by the end of October. Perhaps more. :)

Still on program, still using my daily tracker....happily shaking along.....my clothes are getting loose, yayy!

My house closing is 7 days away. I'm looking forward to November and what it holds for my family and I. I've always felt that this year would be my "Year of Jubilee." I haven't been disappointed yet. :)

Onward and downward!

It's midnight and I'm refilling water bottles for the day tomorrow. Just watched "Greys Anatomy" -- a patient on there was being "encouraged" by her boyfriend to lose weight--didn't eat, took massive amounts of ibuprofen and trained non-stop died from an ulcer in her duodenum (sp)... So now, I'm petrified to take ibuprofen...got to look at the research. I take it twice a day for joint pain and stiffness--maybe I should just work through it.

Tammy, Guess what?! My joint pain was cured by Medifast! As you lose, I think you'll notice a real improvement in that area.

With my jogging, my lower body joint pain has returned. Not all joints on all days. It moves around. I also have always had arthritis type pains in my hands. It is bad enough that I get non-child proof lids on my meds. I'm sure all my time typing doesn't help. I take ibuprofen once a day usually, as directed on the bottle.

I've seen marked improvement in the pain area. I've had debilitating pain in my tailbone and lower back ever since I had my baby last December. I couldn't sit in any chair except my car seat and the recliner at home. Since losing 38+ pounds (I haven't weighed yet) it has gotten so much better.

AND, I've got clevage!!! I'm SO excited! This is the first non-sports bra I've worn in 6 or 7 years (I have the ratty old bras to prove it, too!)... Instead of trying to "contain" things, I'm enhancing them! Woo-hoo! I'm wearing a polo shirt that I couldn't wear 6 weeks ago and this bra, and I don't care that I'm still 239 pounds overweight--I feel really good!

Just a couple of NSV's that I noted this week.... :)

A NSV that's for both me and my hubby--he's STOPPED snoring! STOPPED! I don't wake up in the middle of the night listening to see if he has stopped breathing....

Shakin' my way to onederland!!

Hi Tammy

Catching up on your journal tonight and wanted to say congrats on finding a buyer for your house. I know it's going to be a huge burden off your mind. Mine in Michigan that has also been listed since February closed today and I already feel a huge sense of relief. I'm very happy for you and Clint.

By the way, you are doing great on plan. Keep it up girl. And congrats on not going postal when your co-workers brought in the mac-n-cheese last week!

Tracy

Ok, I caved. I had to weigh. I'm down 45 pounds today. :)

5 more pounds until I get my first charm for my bracelet.

I didn't think about buying and adding to a charm bracelet along the way so I bought myself one on Thursday and picked out some holiday charms and other cute ones to celebrate my transition to food from 5/1. I will add charms along the way but probably more for birthday and Christmas gifts. I already have my wishlist filled out at Neiman Marcus online of the charms I want next so when Christmas rolls around I can just send it to my family! Here is a pic of my bracelet.

VERY Niiiiice.... I'm doing one charm for every 50 pounds, then buying the bracelet as the "I MADE IT!" piece. My first charm is probably going to be a lighthouse....

I'd love to show it to you, but I don't know how to do those fancy things you do, like insert an image.....unless you can tell me a quick tip on how to do it!

If you are using the picture off the internet save it to your computer. (You can also link from the image on the internet but this way is safer because the internet page can change.) So first save the picture to your computer from the internet or use your digital camera and upload the picture to your computer. Then go to an image hosting service like Photobucket (it's free) and upload your picture from your computer. They let you pick the size so pick the website/email (320X240) one. The message board size is too HUGE. It will give you the image code and you just copy it and paste it right here in your message. It will also give you a direct link if you want to send that to friends. Let me know if you have anymore questions!
