Shrimp Gumbo

Postby electra000 » November 6th, 2006, 9:51 am

Found this on the MF board. Sounds yummy! :bib:

Shrimp Gumbo
1 pkg cream of chicken soup with 1 cup water to make broth

Sautee:

3 oz shrimp
1/4 c diced onion
1/4 c diced mushroom
1/2 c of okra

Mix with soup
Season with Old Bay Seasoning

You will need to subtact the shrimp and veggies from your lean and green.

That sounds yummy! But I think I remember hearing that we are not supposed to mix our L&G with one of our MF meals. Is that correct? Anyone?

I recall hearing that too. basically the L&G should be eaten together.

Yeah, that sounds more appropriate for maintenance than weight loss.

You know, I bet with some finagling, we could figure out a L&G version ... except for the okra ... which is kind of the defining ingredient in gumbo. Well, ok, maybe not! ..::sigh::..
