Reesies Peanut Butter

Postby Unca_Tim » February 9th, 2005, 1:11 pm

mmmmmm....did I just find a nice one.

I'm not much of a sweets or candy fan, but if you put 20 pounds of Reese's Peanut Butter cups in front of me, i'd stuff em in til go into sugar convulsions.

I just mixed up one of my Choco Joint Health shakes with a glug of SF Davinci's Peanut Butter syrup and yahooooooooooo........

I'm sure this would have the same effect with any of the Medifast choco drinks.

shhhhhh....don't tell Nance I found her PB syrup.

I'm not a big sweets eater either, but I love Reese's. I definitely have to try this one!

Wow!

Just after reading this yesterday I went to the davinci website and made my first order for syrup: peanut butter, amaretto, and butterscotch.

The bottles arrived THIS MORNING! And total shipping on the three bottles was under five bucks! The bottles from their website were cheaper there than on several other websites I found that sell them, too.

I'm just about to go make one of those Reese's PB DC shakes. I hope I fall in love!

It's yummy in the chocolate puddin', too, and might be good in the banana puddin and shakes-- like a nanner sundae! (Just use a smidge less water in the puddin so you don't get it too soupy!)

My PB syrup arrived this week, and I can already see that I will have to be placing an order for more! In my shakes, in my oatmeal cookies....mmm mmm mmm, this does not taste like any diet food I ever had before! :eat:

I just tried this last night. It tasted pretty good, although I wish that Da Vinci would make the peanut butter flavoring taste a bit more realistic.

I tried the syrup in my pudding last night, it didn't work out too well. I guess I didn't remove enough water. I think I'm going to mix it in after it has set next time.

Yes, you need to take into consideration the additional fluid when you use syrup in the pudding...take out some water. I use less water than the directions call for when I make the Chocolate Pudding...mine never sets up real well unless I use about 3.5 ounces of water. The Bananner sets up better for some reason. If I use the Sugar Free syrup with a puddin', I drizzle it on the top...
