Last spring I wanted to follow the fashion trends and get knee-high balck boots. The problem was I had fat legs and had to get boots from a special company to fit them - I think they have extra room in the calves. I have been wearing them this winter, but it's been a few weeks since I put them on. Went to wear them today and they look like fireman boots they are so gappy and big in the calves. So now I have to get rid of my special fat-girl boots and can weal real ones!

I thought that was a great NSV!

I look at those boots every season - same problem you had with the calves, though, so I never bought any. I'm looking forward to a pair next year!! This is an NSV I can relate to.

I had to buy special wide calf boots from Eddie Bauer this year (disturbingly only offered online) and only wore them 5-6 times. Alas, I'll get over it.
