welcome to you and yeah what pinks said........when I did MF for about a week I no longer noticed those things (tastes) that I noticed and was bothered by at first. Hopefully that will be your experience, too.

I'm on my 10th day and I'm sick

Last night during class my throat started hurting and by the time I got home I was feeling pretty crappy. It's nothing really bad but I just had these same symptoms at the beginning of April. I rarely get sick twice in a month is new for me. Hopefully it's just a 1-2 day thing since I have lots of work to do seeing as it's the end of the semester.

The scale has been going up since Sunday, even though I've been getting all of my meals in and all of my water. I'm attributing it to my "friend" so I'm hoping once she's gone she'll take some weight with her.

I tried the oatmeal cookies yesterday and I thought they were really convenient. That's probably the best thing I can say about them. I made some more this morning with the single packet of blueberry oatmeal that I have. I need portable meals for class so I don't have to worry about finding a microwave.

Hope everyone is having a pleasant day :D

My "friend" didn't mess me up this month but has made me post gains before-so don't worry too much. I hope you feel better soon. ;)

I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. :(

I find it hard to get my supplements in at school, so I use a lot of the RTD shakes. I don't have a fridge in my classroom, but I'm not far from the teacher's lounge. I just walk down between classes and get one, when it's time. I can't perfectly space my meals out, due to the class times at school and my assigned lunch time, but I do the best I can. My schedule usually looks like this:

7 am -- RTD shake
10:15 am -- RTD shake
12:20 pm -- soup, oatmeal, or bar
3:00 pm -- shake, pudding, or bar (if I didn't have my bar at lunch)
6:00 pm -- L & G
9:00 pm -- pudding

I'm not sure if that's what you were looking for earlier in your post when you asked if there was a place where people post their schedules. Hopefully that helps. The only meals I eat at home are the 6 & 9 pm meals. The rest I eat at school.

Take care of yourself and get better soon.

Thanks Kelly and Donica for the well wishes. I'm feeling better but I went to the doctor today because my throat is still sore and the back of the vick's throat spray bottle says to see the doctor if your sore throat persists more than 2 days. The NP said I have a cold and that I would be fine. I knew that's all it was but the combined pressure from the medicine bottle and my family to see the doctor was too much, so I went.

Thanks, again, Donica for posting your schedule. That is exactly what I was looking for. Last week, I was having trouble getting all of my supplements in because I would save one for after L&G and I wouldn't be hungry anymore or it would be too late at night and I wouldn't get the last one in. This week, I tried having all 5 supplements before l&G because I knew I wouldn't end the day without my L&G. So far it's worked and I've all 5 supplements everyday since Saturday.

So the good news is I'm a proud new member of the 10 pound club! This morning I was down 10.5 from my start weight. Woohoo! The NP told me today that my blood pressure was high and that I need to have them monitor it throughout the month to see if today was just an abnormality. That was the renewed interest I needed to stay on plan and motivated to lose this blubber. I'm planning on walking today seeing as I was doing some walking before I started and it's been a week and a half. I hope that's ok. I'm much more concerned about my blood pressure than I am about slower weight loss. I know losing weight will also help keep my blood pressure down so here's to lowering my blood pressure! :D

Oh and are the directions on the back of minestrone box wrong? It says add a half a cup of water but that just made a thick paste, not a soup. I added the other half of cup of water and microwaved it for another minute, let it sit for 3-5 but the beans were still hard.

Should I just add a cup of water at the beginning?

Gracias!

I add the 1/2 cup of water to it, stir it up and leave it sit for at least an hour. I follow the directions then but when it's done I add more water to it to my taste. :)

Thanks, Pashta - I might try that if I remember to let it sit before it's time to eat.

2 weeks in and 11.5 pounds down!

I should get my new shipment today. The tracking page said the order was on the truck so I'm just waiting for my doorbell to ring. I get more and more excited about this program everyday.

Thanks, ladies for your support. You're really making this process a lot easier than it might be otherwise.

Have a great week!
