Ok- I have consumed, in addition to my shakes today 148 oz of water! Will my body eventually get used to this? Otherwise - day two going great...I feel FANTASTIC!

Erika:

We can do this together! I had some bouillon yesterday - it was a nice warm treat after all these cold shakes. The water was a lot easier to get down today...I also am using this forum to learn as much as I can and it seems water is one of the big keys!

Yikes!!!
Did you move your office into the BR?
148oz?
Careful, i think you may explode!...just kiddin'...:)

64 oz is all that's recommended. Especially if you're not used to drinking water. You can even start a little less than this, then work up to your 64 oz.

You can cut that in 1/2 and still be getting plenty.

All the best,
Unca

I probably would have been more productive if I had moved my desk into the loo! It wasn't that hard to get down, I was surprised when I counted up all the empty bottles! Let's see if I can survive the commute home :water:

Karen:

Eventually, your body will adjust to all the extra water. And I can attest to the fact that it DOES help the weight loss!!

Uh, Oh, GS Cookies? You know I ordered some last year and put them in the freezer so that when I could have some, there would be some left for me! SOME ONE in our household found those Girl Scout Cookies and ATE THEM!

I was cleaning out the hall closet a few weeks ago and found a box of Trefoils that I'd stashed nearly a year ago! Those cookies were lying in the dark recesses of our linen closet - you know, in there among the blankies and rarely used sheets...yes, I DID eat them - all by myself - did not share a morsel of them with the SOME ONE that scarfed the freezer cookies. I did not eat them all at once, mind you but I did gladly eat them. Because I can. ;)

When you reach your goals, you will be able to have some, too. Note the word SOME...

You know what? They weren't that great. Nothing tastes as good as thin feels.
