Oatmeal Question

Postby kimberlee » August 1st, 2007, 9:35 pm

I understand that at least 3 of your supplements per day must be shakes, but what is the max amount of oatmeals allowed per day?
Thanks!!

You can have 5 of any replacements (only 1 bar though). The 3 shakes a day is a fairly old standard. It is a good idea, but you can have any of the replacements you wish each day.

Pre WLS 460
Low after WLS 300
Start of MF 350
Previous MF low 280
Restart MF 330

The only reason to watch your oatmeal intake is the higher amount of carbs they have compared to most other supplements. To remain in a light state of ketosis, it is recommended that we eat no more than 85 g of carbs a day. If you had 5 peach oatmeals for your supplements that would be 80 right there and you would have to really watch the carbs in your vegetable choice, like make it lettuce instead of spinach, for your L&G.
