Oatmeal for breakfeast?

Postby TamiL » February 5th, 2004, 6:35 am

I was wondering...its sooooo cold here that waking up..I just want something warm to eat!! is it okay to have oatmeal for breakfeast..then next meal a shake..followed by 2 more shakes
line up something like this:

9am..oatmeal
11am shake
1pm shake
3pm shake
5pm chili
7pm shake or soup if needed!

not sure if your first 3 supplements HAVE To be shakes?
any input would be appreciated!!
on day #3 here....Im kind of lightheaded and my eyes feel funny!! not sure if thats from watching the mircowave so that my yummy food dosent boil over!! :? in the shaker sucess book..it says that headache and lightheadedness is common in the first few days...so Im hoping it goes away before I work tommorrow!!

hope everyone has a great shakin day!
Tami

Hi Tami!

I start almost every day with oatmeal! It is a good stick to your ribs kind of meal.

As long as three out of the five meals are shakes, you will be okay!

I would also recommend that, if you have to have a sixth meal, make it a shake.

The lightheadness & shaky feeling do go away, you will surprisingly feel full of energy by the end of your first week. :D

Yeah, isn't that oatmeal great? Wait until you try the Maple and Brown Sugar Hearty Oatmeal. Yeee-uuuummmm! :bib:

Actually the only thing that is really considered to be “off limits” for breakfast is a bar because it has higher sugars and carbs - after fasting all night, it is best to not spike your blood sugar first thing outta the sack.
