NSV.. whee

Postby KellyC » September 17th, 2007, 9:55 am

So, besides my pants falling off on the metro stairs.. not much has happened in the way of NSV`s for me since I started in April..

But on Sunday.. just about when I was going to have a huge pathetic crying jag when I heard my sis in law is going to start trying for baby #2 (I have disgusting amounts of baby envy).. Jeremy`s friend looks at me and says..

"err, Kelly.. I don`t know exactly how to say this.. but I want to tell you that you look like you`ve lost lots of weight.. you look so much better.. I hope it`s ok to say that, I wasn`t sure if it was impolite or something.." (impolite?! I could have kissed him!)

and not 10 minutes after that, Jer`s mom told me that the guy who owns the fruit&veggie market in her neighborhood saw me walking earlier last week, and told her that I had lost alot of weight since he had seen me last..

oh boy.. my head is getting too big with all the compliments!

Awesome Kelly. So now, you just tell em how.... And how they or someone they know can do the same. ;)

Good for you!! I know how you feel. I bought a new top to wear when I sang in Choir. Put it on yesterday and it looked like a maternity top!
And my slacks-well I "swim" in them!

Kelly those are both awesome NSVs! Few things feel better than someone noticing the progress you've made. Good for you!!

Isn't it great to hear compliments. I finally started getting them when everyone at my husband's job saw me.
