NSV

Postby thisisforme » February 4th, 2007, 9:36 pm

So, today, the kids and I went to the Goodwill. I decided I needed to look for a few pairs of slacks for work, as I "outgrew" several pairs by getting too small. (That in itself is an NSV.) I picked out a few 12s and 14s and was cautiously optimistic that I would leave the store with a least one pair. Well, much to my surprise, they were all too big!! Next time, I'll go in the dressing room with some 10s and see what happens. Look out world, here I come! (Just had to share an exciting moment in a rather dreary Sunday.)

Congratulations! Can't wait to share that feeling - something must have been in the air about pants yesterday, though - I bought a pair two sizes too small as something to shoot for - they're hanging on my closet door....

Enjoy your NSV!

Nickieluv, I did the same thing. When I realized Medifast was actually working, [about size 18 I think] I found a pair of size 10 leather pants on a clearance rack and bought them as a goal. My husband laughed at me and asked if I really thought I'd ever wear them. I told him I wore 10's for years and thought they would be the right size when I hit goal. Well, I tried them on every so often and one day they fit! For a little while anyway, says she smugly from her 6's and some times 4's. I stiil keep them and one pair of fat pants to remind me of my journey. :D

Cindy, Thanks for asking. You aren't the only one who didn't know what an NSV was!

I had an NSV (I'm so glad I know what that is now!) today. I actually went to McDonalds this morning and all I ordered was Iced Tea.

Woo Hoo!!

I think that still may be off plan. They have calories in the air there.

Yes, I was kidding. My husband cooks these non soy, non meat chicken patties and even the smell of those drives me crazy.
