Wow! Unca Tim... Thanks. I have it on my desk top. What an awesome spread sheet. I don't understand Excel, but am blessed by those who do.

Bess :)

Thanks Bess,
Glad you're enjoying it. I'll probably change the "Inches Lost" column as soon as we decide on which standard to use.

Let me know if you have any other ideas for it.

Unca Tim, The only request I have that has nothing to do with the spreadsheet is: Can you set up spell check on the Forum? I am not the best speller, and I love having this tool. Thanks! :)

Hi Bess,
It'd be quite a major chunk of code to set up a "speel" checker.

When I get time, i'll look around the net and see if someone has already made up something I can just "plug into" this one.

I usually paste my post into an email and run it by my Outlook email checker then post it back in here, if I'm stumped on a word. You probably noticed that I don't always do this.

Spelling is no biggie. Long as we get the point. I wouldn't worry too much about it, but I will look around for a checker when I get a minute.

Thanks for the suggestion. It's everyone's ideas, that makes a community great....:)

Thanks Unca... Guess I won't be so worried about it anymore. Thanks for the good job you are doing for all us in the Forum.
Blessings, Bess :)

Bess~~ you definitely should not worry about spelling mistakes. Everyone misspells words. My problem is more that I leave words out. I guess my brain works faster than my fingers. I would hope to think that no one here would be truly critical of mis-spelled words.

.........Bess.... .....please don't worry about misspelled words.........some of our fun is derived from spelling errors or a play on words...... :D ........if everything was always so perfect..... :hmmm: ......that may be boring...... ......well a perfect shape or income would never bore me.........but you catch my drift..........no need to sweat the small stuff........we just need to sweat the fat stuff......... :yay:

I am bumping this thread because I made reference to the tool it provides elsewhere, and have been asked where to find it. Thanks for all the work on this, Unca Tim!

Woot! Thanks SOO much for this! Now I don't have to write my measurements on paper I most likely will lose over time. Yay!!

Oh to the poster above, I could swear that there are free excel readers out there, doesn't sun microsystems or something make one?

Chest measurement tracking

Postby PJinCali » April 25th, 2006, 12:26 am

Hi Unca!

Thank you for this very helpful workbook. I would like to use the calf measurement field as chest (so I keep the WATCH acronym). If I take the chest measument and divide it in half, your formula works correctly. Since the spreadsheet is protected I can't change the word ( I know this is petty but it bugs me  ) Will you change this field and its label so we can use it for chest measurment if we want? It could have another name so everyone that wants to use the Calf measurement worksheet can continue to do so. Or if you want to email me the protection password I can change mine.

Thank you very much for your continued help and support.

There is a spot for chest measurements for daily measuring, he added it, just not on the first measurement you take.

Thanks Pashta,

Yes, I have the workbook with the field for chest measurment but because it is not part of the other measurment fields or formulas, the inches lost are not added to the total inches lost (at least on my workbook). Do I have an old version? I would change the formulas but they are protected. :(
