New Product Announcement

:wavie: Hullo Every Buddy and Buddyette ~

:boing: Hooboy!

:shades: Have I got some juicy news for you!

 Yup, from the Medi-kitchen we have a new product announcement to make…
Maryland Crab Soup.

My first introduction to Old Bay seasoning and Lump Crab was when we went to Maryland in 2003.

Now lemme back up the truck a moment here and ‘splain sum’pun’ to you. I live in Washington State, just about a two hour drive to the Pacific Ocean. We have enjoyed fresh Dungeness crab and shrimp for years. When I was a young girl, we’d fly with our neighbor in his 4-seater to the coast, land on the beach, dig clams and gooeyducks (they are the weirdest things to grab hold of as they try to evade a hungry clam digger!) and fly back to Portland, OR. My Mom would bread those clams in crackercrumbs and quickly fry ‘em. We have a penchant for seafood.

My brother lives on the coast and regularly fishes, digs for clams and crabs. ( hmm…he is a bit  crabby at times…) Sometimes we end up with a crab on our line when we are fishing or we get lucky and get a cageful of legal size crabs. Dungeness tastes much different than the blue crabs of the Chesapeake. We had some crabcakes shipped from Maryland so we could have that great taste once again and share it with our family.

Since it is still cool here in the northwest, we find a :eat: bowl of the creamy rich Maryland Crab Soup fills our senses and takes us on a mental vacation to a boat ride we enjoyed along the Baltimore inner harbor of the Chesapeake.

I am so :kool: stoked about this latest Medifast meal replacement. I know you are going to enjoy it, too.

Available online or by calling the Take Shape For Life Call Center on May 1st, it is $14.50 for a box of 7 packets. I’d suggest the Medifast Garden Vegetable snack crackers to go along with the Maryland Crab Soup.

Ahhh…sweet Medibliss and happy thinnin’ :whoohoo:

Once you try it, let us know your thoughts!
:you:

I hope it's as good as the eggs (meaning it tastes like real food). I love lobster bisque...........this sounds close enough considering my options right now. I'm going to order it. I hope it's good. :D

From my journal:

I just tried the Maryland crab soup and it is SO GOOD! It actually feels like I am having a "bad-for-you" soup like Progresso or something. The flavor is great- I only added a little salt. There is crisp corn, tomatoes and scallions in the soup, and chopped soy-crab that actually tastes like real crab! YUM-O!!!
