Hi everybody,

My name is Eric and I'm 25. I heard about your forum by one user (Hyperion) who amazed me with his weight loss using Medifast :)

So, using his precious help, I ordered my 4 week Medifast package yesterday.

3 months ago, my weight was 226 pounds, for 5'11". It was too much for me, so I managed to change my eating habits. I start to eat better while doing some exercice. Now, I'm at 210 pounds and I feel much better. I still have 30-40 pounds to lose and I think Medifast will help me reaching this goal.

My only concern will be the transition period, it would be so sad to lose so much weight and after the diet to take all it back...

I'm very happy to have found you, I read a lot of topics and you'll help me to motivate myself by your wonderfull weight loss stories :)

You will have lots of help with the initial phases of Medifast and the transition from both board members and the literature itself. I believe the transition quide is 24 pages long so it isn't just sending you on your way after you reach goal weight. You will get the wealth of experience and advice from members at every stage of the game. Good luck and I look forward to knowing you better!

Hey there, Eric!

Any friend of Hype's is a friend of mine. We started at the same time and got to be pretty good buddys. He lost his weight alot faster and has abandoned me. Would you do me a favour and tell Hype I said hi and also tell him that I reached my goal! You could nudge him into coming back to the forum once in awhile just to check in, too.

Welcome to the forum. Don't forget to ask if you have questions. Someone always has an answer for you and most times it's right, hehe.

Hey Jo!!!!!

Got to be pretty godd buddys???? As in we're not anymore? :? :?

Hehe i'm coming back to the forum one in a while, just not posting anymore! But I'm reading some of your posts, and I guess you're now much more knowledgeable than I am :D :D , so why bother posting while you are so right on target? LOLL

I've been talking about Medifast on my other discussion forums (car tuning forums, mostly), people are getting incredibly impressed and some don't even believe my pics are real pics :)

Actually, some people I know tried Medifast, a few of them with success, a lot of them with failure, mostly due to the fact that they were not respecting the basic rules. Best one was someone who did MF on weeks, but regular junk food on week-end, believing she would just "lose slower", even though I told him countless times otherwise. Oh well, I won't lose myself into that kind of stories or I'll exceed the post's maximum length :)

With all the questions Eric had for me, and all the attention he seems to put in his planning, I really think he's set for the success. Now it's up to us to support him accordingly. Welcome Eric, oh and consider posting pics of you in the Studio. 1- You'll get a hell lot of motivation there from all of us (I know what I'm talking about!). 2- Maybe you'll inspire someone you don't know who'll join the MF community

Welcome Eric

P.S.: Oh and Jo, I saw some pic of you in the studio, you seem to be more alive than ever!!!! You are really incredible! Who could have thought that back in November 2005, huh? ;) ;) ;)

Those pics were 40 pounds ago.....I'm much teenier now! And yes, who'd a thunk it a year ago when we were such young MFers.

In all seriousness.....It's nice to see you. Don't be a stranger, ok?

Sorry to hijack your thread, Eric, but it was such a shock to see Hype that I couldn't contain my fingers and they just started typing and I couldn't stop and I......

Rick06PV, I guess refers to his car, an 06 MPV. We're on a Mazda tuning forum together, and he changed his Mazda 3 for a 06 MPV :)

Thank you, Hype, for the nick explanation! :D It's great to see you in this neck of the woods!

Ah, Guy Stuff. *mournful sigh* I once painted an old Ford Escort with a paint gun and paint-by-numbers brushes to render it a ComicMobile, but I still have never learned how to even change a flat tire! ;) Or change the oil for that matter... I leave the dirty work to the men and wring my hands  I'd like to be more butch though, especially if it didn't involve kneeling in icy slush. Wait, that might not be a good qualifier... real tough women would change the tire with their teeth probably! While shoeing a horse just in case.
