Thanks everyone :)

Well, Thursday, I bought smaller jeans...yeah! and I've been getting compliments on looking really nice lately! Guess I'm looking better, but people don't relate it to weight loss yet. Heck, 17 pounds doesn't show much to aquaintences when you have over 100 to lose...but it still feels good. :)

:woohoo: WTG Joyce! That is awesome. And buying smaller jeans, :bravo: I am so looking forward to buying new clothes. I'm determined to keep wearing the ones I have until they literally almost fall off. Actually I'm a little surprised at how they still fit after 22# down. I really expected them to be way too big already, but they're not. They are very comfortable now......I must have poured myself into them before. ;)

Keep doing what you're doing, girl. You're doing great. :you:

Good going Joyce!! You gotta love shrinking!! At least people are noticing that you look nice - they probably have not put two and two together and just can't pinpoint what is different - nobody has noticed anything about me and I am down 19.5 pounds. The only person who knows I am MFing is my hubby - people at work know that I am watching what I eat and see me eating soup with them at lunch yet have not noticed anything. No family members have seen a difference either and I have four children, 10 brothers and sisters, 22 nieces and nephews, and two great nieces. Nobody.....man...that really is a bummer...LOL!!

I hear ya SuzyQ! It's nice to feel so much better and just 15 pounds boosted my confidence SO much!!! Isn't it funny...when I was gaining weight, I was sure everyone could notice every 5 pounds I gained and I hated how huge I felt...but every 5 pounds I lose doesn't seem as big of a deal. Gotta change that mentality!!!!

I'm up 1.5 pounds...but I know these things happen and it's only a temporary water gain. Probably be gone by tomorrow...or the next day and then down down down!!! Whoo hoo!!!!

Yippee....dropped that 1.5 + another 1...phew!! So, it's only a loss of 1 pound this week...BUT it's a total of 8 in two weeks!! Not too shabby!!! I'm happy with it :)

Hi Joyce, I am just popping in here to say that you are doing really, really well and keep up the great work !! It's actually kind of funny that people are mentioning how nice you look lately but not necessarily noticing the weightloss. There were some people in my life that I saw once every week or every other week (you know, the kind of time-frames that allow a person enough perspective to see changes) who didn't noticed that I had lost weight until I had lost like 60 pounds and suddenly I looked thin to them. It happens I guess :dunno:. But don't worry, pretty soon it will be undeniable .

Cheers !

Good for you! I hate those stalls. But around here, especially if they only last a few days we call them plateaus to annoy JO!
