I'm proud of you!! 20 pounds is a big accomplishment. If you every get discouraged, just go to the produce department at the grocery and pick up two 10 pound bags of potaoes - you lost THAT MUCH! I am very in to the tangible examples, so I always try to find something that equals the weight I have lost.

Great job! Keep it up - or down as the case may be.

Today is day 45 on MF. i must say, i feel WONDERFUL. every day i am feeling stronger and stronger. i just wish i was feeling strong enough to add in some sort of steady exercise. i have been sooo sporadic with my exercising, it's ridiculous! it may just be a mind thing...it kinda sent me into a tizzy when i stalled in weeks 3 and 4. things have been working out for me so far since then and i am kinda scared to mess with it. i had stopped using my psyllium during week 5 and that's when i recognized the loss. it could have been MANY different factors though. at this point, even though i could use some fiber, i'm scared to ad it back in because i don't want another extremely low week, it'll put me TOO FAR BEHIND KYM!!! So kym, i will stay full of poop if that's what will keep me at .46lbs per day compared to your .5!! hehehehe!   Well maybe if i used the fiber i would be averaging .75 huh? Sorry guys to be so graphic...Actually, the fiber seemed to stop working, then in week 6, i tried Miralax at biki's suggestion (yes, i have been trying to solve my issues for YEARS) which didn't seem to do too much. Anyhoo, i know what works for me and that's DAILY EXERCISE...but for some reason, i just don't make time for it. OH Well, i figure eventually everything will fall into place. I don't wanna push too much, i will continue to take it a little at a time. Just like my body/mind told me it was time to start MF again and STICK TO IT, my body/mind will let me know when i am physically and mentally able to make exercise a consistant part of my life.

Thanks Bren, it means a lot. You know it's funny that you speak of tangible examples. I usually compare my weight loss to that of a water cooler jug. (5 gallon) it weighs approximately 30 lbs and i know how HEAVY it feels when i am trying to lift it up onto my cooler. The thought of carrying 2.5 x that as extra weight on my body almost makes me sick. No wonder my knees and back bother me at times!

Oh yeah, 219.6, i have a while to go before i make it to onderland but i did make it to the TWO TEENS! Never to see 220+ again. hey, i can make up anything that i want, it's my journal, my scale, my fat!! Matter of fact, i think i will make up the 25# club since i struggled so hard to get to 20!! Jeez, 30# looks so far away so i gotta break it up. I think in the beginning, 5lb increments looks so much more attainable than the 10 lbs all at once. After 30# then i might start working in 10# increments again. I guess everyone has their little milestones. When i fall below 215, i will have passed my lowest MF weight. I'm waiting to feel that sense of accomplishment because i know i will still be psyched and staying OP!!!

I had to take the Miralax for 7 days in a row. I haven't had any problems since. How long did you take it?

I must be in a really sick humor kind of mood, because this struck me an hilarious "no pun intended" statement considering the rest of that post. Forgive me! If you read my journal this morning you will discover I almost froze my brain today. Maybe that is it.
