I will send you some MF vibes today to try to scare away that Crazy Craving Creature. Thankfully, I haven't had to deal with any for a little while now.

I actually think the cough drops could have been responsible for the cravings. I have found that if i chew SF Gum or have an SF piece of candy my sugar cravings come back with a vengeance. I have not heard many other people who experience this but I have learned that I HAVE to stay away from the guma nd candy. Hope today is better for you. Sometimes drinking water helps... Good luck!

See? then maybe it wasn't just my imagination although i can chew SF gum with no problem. I normally don't bother eating SF candy. Thanks Carib...at least i don't feel like it i'm the only one this happened to. You would think that SF stuff wouldn't have that effect.

thanks everybody for the well wishes for a better day today. It worked! I woke up feeling fine, no cravings (well, see below)and i was fine all day long. I had a cough drop before i went to bed last night but i didn't have any today, so maybe that was it. I really dont wanna test it again.

You know, we talk about our tastes changing all the time. Well, today, i went to WaWa and decided i was going to get a vanilla whatever flavored coffee with skim milk. I didn't bother putting any sweetener in it because i had plans of adding my SF dulce de leche syrup when i got home. Well as i stood in line to pay for it, i decided to take a sip. Well, lo and behold, it tasted REALLY GOOD without any sweetener, i had to take a few more sips to make sure it wasn't a fluke. This may not sound crazy to other people but for me, here's a little history:

I DON'T like coffee. I CANT STAND skim milk. I drink it (coffee) if i am very cold and it has to be made in a special way...almost 1/4 cream and AT LEAST 8-10 sugars in a 10 oz cup.

So for me to take a sip of this tar related substance in my cup and actually enjoy it was a very strange event. Everyone at work would always gasp in horror when i would say how much sugar i had to put in my coffee. A warranted reaction, i might add. So, i don't really have any intentions of making coffee a part of my regular diet, but i now realize that i need VERY LITTLE (if any) sweetener in it at all. Wow, who woulda thunk it? Erica was sipping on coffee with no sweetener! Oh yeah, i did get home, added my syrup, sat down and enjoyed. Yes, it did taste even better with the syrup, but more for the flavor rather than the sweetness.

Oh believe me, i am watching you CLOSELY! Congrats on the 11 lbs and the 10 lb club. I am saving a seat for ya in the 20# club. However, i hope to leave you my warm seat (as OWTO did for me!) because i am trying my best to be in the 30# club by the time you hit 20#. Nothing personal, as much as i would love to share a club with ya, i would hate it just the same! :? BUT, keep holding on to my coattail and we will drag each other along!

OH DAMN! That heffa (yes, heffa, not heiffer) must be feelin' better! Yeah, i may be closer to my goal (not even by a pound) but you have lost 10lbs more than i have. Yes, that is my TRUE GOAL. But i must add that the healthy weight range for my height is listed as 127.1 to 171.75. The lowest weight i have EVER been in my adult life is about 173. Trying to remember back to those days, i felt like i still coulda lost about 20lbs so this time around i picked 155 as my goal, last time i had a gal of 165. I really hope it's not too skinny. Right now, i want to get to 155 and have people say "you are too skinny, you need to gain some weight". Realistically, once i get down to about 165, i will have to see if i will go for the remaining 10. I know we all joke around about the big boned thing but, i really am. I'm 5'9.5" and i do not have the frame of a skinny model type (i could never weigh 125, i would look like a q-tip). My head alone weighs 97lbs! So i say all that to say, you are not racing a ghost, THIS IS REAL GIRLIE!!! NO SUGAR COATIN', NO MASQUERADIN', NO ADDING IN EXTRA POUNDS FROM PREVIOUS LOSSES...NOTHIN'! this is ALL MF baby!

:roflmao:

What are you spiking your shakes with?!?!?! :roflmao: You are on a roll tonight (saw your butt bustin post telling someone to get with the program - in so many words!).

Anyway, no, I don't feel better but thanks for asking - lol. I am high on nyquil liquid caps and on my way to bed but not before I give you hell (hells bells, of course - lol).

My healthy range starts at 137 (I am a shortie) but I selected 124 as my goal - - I can't even remember why to tell you the truth! I wanted to be 'under' the healthy BMI though instead of pushing the top. But I dunno why 124 and not 120 - - cause I am me, I suppose.

Honestly, I've been so many weights I don't know when I was what or when I was low, etc. I know I was 103 when I was 17 - roughly 120 in college (I think) and then after brain surgery (early age 20) I gained/lost/gained/etc. I was 143 when I moved to Denver 10 years ago - I was a size 8/10 depending on the brand. I still wanted to lose weight BUT I have to admit I looked good :) - I didn't think so then but looking back, I know I looked good. I know I weighed in at 204 on the day I gave birth to my wonderful baby girl! I can’t recall feeling skinny since high school though - - 2008 is my year for skinny!

And yes, I may have lost more than you chicky but my butt got bigger than yours too so I had more to lose - LOL. Our remaining poundage towards goal is sooooo close! I look forward to the race and crossing the finish line with you!

Yup - it may be less than a pound but STILL :)! LOL

So, you still weighing at night? :roflmao:

i spike them with the occasional shot of da vinci's! But not tonight...i don't know what got into me. You weren't around to absorb my aggression...yeah, that's it. So i guess i gotta say "sorry carolannjeanette, it was OWTO's fault. Her damn flu is causing my mental problems to flare!!!" Only kidding. Hey the way i see it, we can all use a little rattling sometimes.

My weight of 173 was as a junior in college. ahhh, the good ole days of being a "scale" whore (with NO words to be removed by YOU in a quote, thank you very much!). After that, i jumped between 180 and 210 for a while, then 210 to 225, then 230, reached my HIGHEST of 267 (can u tell i hadn't been monitoring my weight?). When i stepped on the scale one day and saw that number, it was too close to 300 for me and i immediately got myself back down to the 235 range. I've been yo yo-ing between the 230-240 for a while now. When i gave birth to my son (14 years ago) i weighed 206. I would kill for 206 now. What a thought, but i'm getting there. Because i am so tall, i didn't even start to show during pregnancy until i was 6 months along and even then it was hard to tell. The doctor always said my pregnancy was distributed vertically because of my long torso but the baby was growing fine ( i was always so scared that the baby wasnt growing properly since i didn't "look" pregnant). Anyhoo, it is a race to the finish. Bring it! Matter of fact, i have some nyquil LIQUID...here try it, it'll make ya feel good...

You kids are crazy. I know crazy. Some meds are indicated but not Nyquil. But nothing wrong with some tough love. In Joleen's absence it is particularly needed.

Erica,

Can I have a few inches of your height?? LOL! Dang! All I wanted from Santa was to be 5'5 instead of 5'2. LOL!

I can't seem to pinpoint a good goal weight right now either, just a goal "range". My shrinking co-worker looks great but still wants to lose 10 more pounds...but she is settling for 5 more. I just hope I recognize within myself when enough loss is enough. I do like a little meat on my 'big' bones, just no FAT! LMAO!

Girl, if it were possible, i would be glad to give you 3 inches of height because i would still be 5'7" but you gotta take the weight to go with it. One of my biggest concerns is recognizing when enough lost is enough. You know they say "don't nuttin want a bone but a dog." I must say that i have crossed enuff dogs in my day while holding WAY more than bones. It's so hard to judge because so many people that are used to seeing me "bigger" always say "No, you don't need to lose anymore weight, you're gonna look sickly". You know how our culture tends to be. So that's why i am shooting for 155 but i will see how i look/feel at 165. I'm sure there will be so many that will think i am too small at 165. Who do we believe? Ourselves? (who can be REALLY strict judges. Or those who love us?
