Thanks Tawanda!

I'm still hanging in. I 've lost 6 pounds so far which is great. I look and feel better when I look in the mirror. I can tell that I'll be back to my pre - falling-off-the-wagon by December and get to my orginial goal weight by January! I know that I can do this through the holidays because I did it last year!!

I haven't been able to get to the forum as much, but I still get around to seeing everyone's progress when I'm on, and you are all doing great! Keep up the good work!

Steph keeps telling me that she wouldn't be able to do this diet in Hawaii because of the food.

I know we will have the strenght during this holiday season...even in ono plate lunch Hawaii :weightlift: .

Hey Charity! Thanks for stopping by! You are just rockin' it girl!

Yes. I believe that we have more temptations here than anywhere because the food is so good here and our culture pretty much revolves around eating! The last company I worked for before becoming a stay-at-home- mom, we had a potluck at every monthly sales meeting AND we would have a recognition luncheon every month at a buffet restaraunt, like Todai, Makino Chaya or something like that! So every other week I was chowing down! I gained 20 pounds in 4 months when I first started working there!

Thank goodness for MF!

I just made chicken breasts marinated in a Hawiian sauce. I soooo wanted to put some pineapple in with it too, but I was able to resist. I believe it would horribly difficult for me to stay on the straight and narrow in that culture. Good for you for being so strong.

Oh work! I haven't been to work at the hospital since the day my baby was born 16 mo ago. But...the Saturday crew would have potluck every other week, then there was the theme potluck every month (ie sudaes, mexican, Thanksgiving) to celebrate that months birthdays. Then there are the awesome things patient's family bring in everyday (see's candy, lenards malasadas, coco puffs from liliha bakery) Some days I would literally be popping things in my mouth every 15 mins  !!!!

I am sooo blesses to be a stay at home mom for now ( I start nursing school in January) Lord give me strenght when midterms and finals roll around...that is when I am the weakest because I mentally feel I deserve treats because of all the studing I am doing!

I was in med school for 6 months before dropping out and starting my family....I gained 30 lbs during those 6 months!

Lost another 2 pounds! Yay! Now I can wear my fitted t-shirts without seeing any lumpy fat or muffin tops! I feel better about what I see in the mirror now.

Yesterday my hubby and I went hiking on a small trail that was at a really steap incline. It was hard but it felt great when we got to the top and it was easy coming back down. I want to lose another : 3-5 pounds by Thanksgiving so that gives me one week. :whip:

Thanks Charity! Yes it is a big number. I'm PMSing too! I had some major cravings for anything carb related so it was not an easy day. But I'm still on track.

Hey - thanks for your encouragement on my studio post. I knew I may only get a couple of wears out of that dress, but for the price and the fit - I had to get it.

Thanks again
