Three years ago today our gracious hostess made the decision to DO SOMETHING to change her life for the better. And not only did she enrich her own life/health/appearance by doing so, she's enriched each of our lives too with her success and her willingness to share and to reach out and help others find the same success.

I have to know -- did you start Medifasting on Bastille Day deliberately, or was it a coincidence? I sort of like the imagery....

Well, thank you, Little Darlin’ so very much for remembering!

Actually, we wanted to begin on our 32nd wedding anniversary, July 3rd – we thought it would be a good gift to ourselves but we had to wait until we got our paycheck. In 2002, all orders came 7-10 days by UPS so we ordered on our anniversary and began on the Monday after we got our boxes of Medifast, July 15th, 2002.

Bastille Day certainly is a great symbol of what happened to us – we were set free from the flab that had imprisoned us!

It began our Independence Day.

Happy Independence Day to all of you, too! With every shake you take and every glass of water you slurp, you are becoming healthier and thinnier!!

Yup, Bastille Day is a pretty good visual huh! Congratulations and I want to say thanks for giving so many of us hope and helping us along this path. If you guys hadn't made this forum I don't know if I could've experienced the success I did last fall when I joined. ANd even if I'm now back because of some rebounding, I've always felt welcomed and supported. I KNOW that even though I didn't transition right, I can be back here with all your support to get it right this time. So THANK YOU Nancy (And Tom and Unca) for being such an inspiration to me personally and to all of us!
