A good feeling this morning!

Postby Jodi1964 » June 10th, 2006, 8:10 am

Hello, everyone. I've been lurking for a couple of weeksand have done a little bit of trading on the swap. I've been on the program now about 2 weeks. I must say this is the easiest diet program I have ever been on. I was doing Nutrisystem earlier this year and found most of the food just tasted terrible, so had little success with it.

Since being on Medifast for 2 weeks I've lost 8 pounds.

A quick history of my weight issues. Always been over weight, once hit a high of 236 and managed to lost 75 pounds with Weight Watchers and kept itoff for 4 years. But, after turning the dreaded 40 I slowly had 30 pound creep back on which I have found really hard to take back off!

Anyway, today we have a family wedding to attend. The outfit I was originally going to wear I will freeze in as it has turned cold and rainy here in the midwest. I was scrounging in my closet this morning hoping to find something else. In the back I found a linen suit from when I had all that weight off for 4 years and was a size 14. I'm currently a comfie 16. This dress has a jacket which would be perfect for today, but the dress under the jacket is form-fitting. I decided to try it on and at least see if it would zip. I was shocked...it zipped! It is snug, but I can get it on! With a good-fitting girdle I should be able to wear it today!

I have almost gotten rid of that dress several times since I regained the weight, but it was one thing I kept hold of. And, I'm so glad I did!

Just wanted to share...and say hello to everyone!

Hello Jodi!

It sure is a great feeling when you fit into a size you didn't think you were ready for. Great Job.

Have fun at your wedding.
