Hi Gina - just wanted to say congrats on your loss since you have been back and congratulations on the two year non-smoker anniversary! My two-year non-smoker anniversary will be in February! I tried so many times in the past and never made it over a year so I am feeling proud I passed that mark this time. Just this past week I passed the milestone of having shed the 20 pounds I gained when I dumped the cigs.

Good for you girl!

~~Ms. Holberry, Thanks so much for the congrats and you are a prime example that we really can do this! WTG :)

This was a pretty good week, I did 3 days of 6-0 and one day of 7-0(extra hungry that day) down 3 since last Sunday and hoping for 1 more by tomorrow, which will make 5 weeks, to the day, back on plan. hope I have to edit this post and week five. lol(*edit on 10/01/07 and 10/02/07) :D

Original weight: 276
Lost 88 and dropped to low of 188
Kept off-29 pounds
Restart 8/27/07-247
Week 1--9lbs-238
Week2--4lbs.-234
Week3--5lbs.--229
Week4--3lbs--226
Week5--4lbs.--222-25 down
That puts me in the 50 pound club! :D

Weird and Unusual NSV's  My hips no longer stop the flow of water behind said hips, when I am emptying the bath.
 My tata's no longer have a "shelf" to rest on when I am standing up(upper roll is sunken in and down-eww)
Sitting down to tie my shoes with ankle resting on knee ,no longer makes me feel like my head is going to explode.

~Till next time

~~Hol, Please don't be a stranger I miss reading your journal and seeing you around. :(

~~Pam, SO glad your food came and you did great this week despite a lot of pressures and stress in your life..you CAN do this, no matter what!

~~Sojo-
Actually, I think I owe you now, because this one made me snort laugh
Ow! Those hurt! LOL Your so silly!

~~Diana- Thanks so much, 50 pounds down does feel great but I am looking forward to getting back to where I was...so that I feel like I am "really" moveing again. lol Your a shaker queen!! Thanks for being here and inspiring us all.

Well tomorrow will be six weeks since my restart and I will admit I am struggling a bit. Those thoughts of having something offplan are a-swirlin around in my head...for example: "apples are good for you, so it really wouldn't be a bad thing to have an apple" ImageThen the mf angel in my head speaks up..."but their not on plan" Image

For now I am keeping my blinders on and turning myself into a water "silo" and chewing sf gum like there is no tomorrow. I think my "visitor" is lurking and I always get fatigued in the week prior and fatigue or exhaustion is always when I am plauged by such thoughts.

I am somewhat low on product, at least product that I really enjoy(most of the stuff I have is leftover from when hubby was on plan and is stuff he likes -Chai, tropical punch, banana pudding) I do have a 2 week order coming on Tuesday so that will help immensly.lol

Trying to work on my attitudes about food for pleasure vs. food for nutrition.
On the concept of food for nutrition any of the things I do have here should do fine,Choke them down, fill me up and I go on my happy, merry way.
Apparantly tho I am "stuck" in the 'food for pleasure' mode because if there aren't supplements I really enjoy, I start to feel that deprivation, basically sorry for myself, angry that I can't have "real food" and just get myself totally down in the dumps.(Read-HUGE pity party here)

Anyway:
Original weight: 276
Lost 88 and dropped to low of 188
Kept off-29 pounds
Restart 8/27/07-247
Week 1--9lbs-238
Week2--4lbs.-234
Week3--5lbs.--229
Week4--3lbs--226
Week5--4lbs.--222
Week6--2lbs.--220-27 down(will edit this tomorrow if there is any change)
Total Lost on MF- 56 pounds!

HUgs,
Gina

Thanks for the mention of the dam that hips can make in the bathtub. For so long, I have taken showers just because I didn't fit in the bathtub. Last night I realized that my hips don't touch the sides of the tub anymore. It is so great to be able to read these journals and realized that I really am not the only one.

It wasn't my hips that bothered me, it was looking down and seeing that Orka belly when I was in the tub!
