13 French Vanilla's

Postby iammissruth » November 6th, 2007, 7:49 pm

So I have had 2 French Vanilla shakes and I can't get them down. Anyone want to trade or buy? They are the 55 shakes. (I not personally a french vanilla fan, or vanilla anything but it was worth a shot.)
Since I am new to the program, I am willing to sample most anything.
Thanks for the help,
Ruth

Before ya give up on em... have ya tried 'em in your coffee (if ya like coffee ;) )

Also, I like to add some SF caramel or something similar.

Thanks for the suggestion Mike, but I don't drink coffee...
And as for adding syrups, I did that the first time and tonight I tried a Rootbeer float. I FV has a very stong taste that I could mellow down. You know? Anyways, I'm pretty sure about gettin rid of them.
Thanks though.

I agree that the vanilla flavor is very strong. I've added a whole bottle of rootbeer + rootbeer extract, and it still doesn't overcome the flavor!

But I do like these:
vanilla shake + 1c water + 1/2 tsp sugarfree Crystal Lite lemonade (or raspberry) drink mix + 1 cup ice -- blendered

or my very favorite pina colada -- a lot of add-ins, but sooo worth it:
vanilla shake + 4oz cold water + 4oz Diet Ginger Ale + 1/4 tsp coconut extract + 1/2 tsp pineapple extract + 1/2 tsp SF Crystal Lite pineapple-orange drink mix + 1 cup ice -- blendered

For me, only strong citrus flavors and/or very fizzy soda (not rootbeer or cream soda) will cut through the chalkiness & alter the taste of the shakes.
