Hi ,
Just had my first MF meal. Peach oatmeal. Not bad at all. Maybe a little bit bitter. Does anyone know what type of sweetener is used in the products?
Thank you again for all the advice I want to utilize every tool available. I am sooooo dedtermined to make this happen.
You guys are great

I don't know what sweeteners are used but most of us do experience a change in our taste buds. Many items that are so-so in the beginning have become near and dear to my heart and stomach now.

Hi Arklahoma, I notice that you have been a member for only a couple of months adn yo are a member of the 50# club. WOW. How much have you lost exactly? What is your average per week? Also I was wondering if it is OK to add salt to the soups?

Sharon ~ I was on the plan b4 I tripped across this website. Tomorrow will be 4 months for me and my total loss as of this minute is 53.2 lbs. I'm averaging about 3.3 - 3.5 lbs per week so I'm pretty pleased.

I wouldn't recommend adding salt to the soups. This plan is very well-balanced and your taste buds will adjust. Best of luck to you!!!

Hi Arklahoma, Congts on your great success. How much farther to goal? Wow 3.5 per week average is really great. I have to lose around 100 lbs. I was just wondering about how long it may take.
One day at a time.
Thanks

Any where between 120 to 160 is a healthy range for my height and build. Will probably end up around 140 but my doc has agreed to let me go down to 120 just to see what it looks like.

So to get down to 120, I need to lose about 90 more lbs and I expect it will take me to the end of the year. When I originally started the plan, I estimated a loss of 3 lbs per week and added it up to see about how long it would take me. Some people lose faster and others slower, but I have been able to avg in the 3 - 3.5 category.

Best of luck to you!!!

Hi, Sharon.

I looked and guess what? You ARE registered. You may have to sign in, though, when you come to the site. Scroll to the bottom when you first arrive at the forum and log in there. Mike has to do it periodically.

When you're signed in, you can see everyone's avatar in the left margin and the tickers that show our weight loss in our signature on our posts.

Welcome and congratulations!! You're gonna love this program (after the first couple of days). What a great thing you can get the water in no problem!! That's a key element to success!

Sharon,

I just wanted to let you know that I found the oatmeal bitter too but now I add a little splenda to mine and it is great.

You are moving right along!
