I made it through the procedure, I had to have some xanax to help me relax. Deep cleaning is very uncomfortable; but sometimes it's necessary to have it. Slept for a long time after the procedure food supplement intake poor.

I hope you feel better today! Last time I had my teeth cleaned he was so rough with me my gums ached for days. That was 3 years ago and you are supposed to have cleanings twice a year so I am past due....

well biki, you better get back before they have to send you for a deep cleaning (called a scaling), which from what my mom tells me is MUCH worse! Put it like this...after she experienced the scaling one time, she is now a FAITHFUL flosser and twice a year dentist visitor. All to avoid the experience again.

I should have gone to that dentist; I had to pay $185 per quad. Of course my insurance covered a tad bit of the cost. I'm trying to recouperate and behave with the orders I was given. Next friday I will go in to began my Left lower quad (3 crowns) process. Dental work is so expensive. Ahhhhhhh

I tried the Oatmeal again this morning. Oh my goodness; I'm having a hard time stomaching that stuff. How do you make it taste better. Someone has to know a way to get this stuff down without feeling the sensation of vomiting with each bite.

Try the oatmeal cookie recipe on the side of the box, or the Lean Cuisine section on here for the pancakes, muffins, and brownies.
I love those, and my wife does also (and she can't stand the oatmeal).

wow, i LOVE the oatmeal. i must admit at first i didn't like it much but i realized that if i had shakes in the morning, i would get hungry VERY quickly. Oatmeal was the only thing that would allow me to properly space my meals. So i guess, in a way, i was "forced" to eat it and i just got used to it.

I only like the apple cinnamon - I'm not a huge fake oatmeal fan - plus I normally would eat my oats with peanut butter - yum :-). I add splenda and cinnamon to the MF oatmeal though and find it yummy. I don't eat it very often though.

Tonight, I tried the granola crunch recipe I found in the Lean Cuisine section. It was actually OK - and made the oatmeal last longer. Next time, however, I am going to add the cinnamon and splenda after they have finished baking - I found the tastes baked out and I had to add more once cooked. But it was a yummy new treat - and the first time I have done anything with my MF food other than what the directions on the box say.

I hope your mouth feels better soon.

I don't see a recipe on the side of my box. Where can I find the oatmeal cookie recipe in the lean cuisine. Is it title oatmeal cookies?

In lean cuisine, there is a sticky at the top with oatmeal cookie recipes, as well as condiment lists, and helps for shakes.

Here are a couple others:
Pancakes http://www.makemethinner.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10782

Muffins
http://www.makemethinner.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10985

Brownies

Hope this helps.

I actually cheated a little today; my job had a Christmas party for the residents. I am the Director of Nursing at a long term facility and I had 3 lil smokies pig in the blanket; 1 meatball, and broccoli and cauliflower; just one spear each. I will get back on plan tomorrow. What I ate didn't calculate up to 300 calories I'm sure. I will try not to make that mistake again. I felt terrible when I got through eating it. It was so many sweets, I couldn't believe it. It was like dessert heaven; but I refrained myself from that; however, the item I did have made me a little depressed. I will stay on plan tomorrow. I really don't want to mess up. I have lost 6 pounds since I began on December 8th, 2007. I have to remain on this plan. I must lose 50 pounds. Do you know if crystal light is okay or not while Medifasting?
