Hello everyone. I have decided to start a journal along with starting over with Medifast again. So here I go, I'm trying again. I know it takes a commitment and then the weight loss will take care of itself. So simple but definately and huge challenge for me.

A bit about myself...I'm a full time Mom, homemaker and wife to two boys and have been married for 17 years. I do volunteer work for my kids schools and our church. I love gardening, cooking, reading, and enjoy spending time with my family. I'm the youngest of eight children and have a large family with many nieces and nephews, bros in laws etc....its pretty neat to be part of a big family, I love it. Our holidays are alot of fun.

Today is my first day on plan. I have alot to lose. I will take it one day at a time. I know what has worked for me and so I will space out my meals every two hours and drink all of my water. I'm on track now with my 3rd supplement and my second liter of water.

Thanks gals :)
Yesterday went fine. I had my meals spaced out every two hours and finished with my L & G which was grilled ground sirloin patty and salad with the Wishbone Spritzers. I woke up and weighed and I'm down 3 lbs. Onto day 2. Have a great day.

Today was Day 3 and it was not easy today. I think I need to stay busy, unstressed and out of the house. I feel shakey right now like a drug addict coming off of drugs. Yesterday was headache all day. I need to get through another few days. Not fun at all. I won't weigh until Sunday morning. Thanks Biki for stopping in!

Elizabeth, I was a little shaky on day 3 also. I went through the headache late on day 1 and early on day 2. Once I got past day 4 it was sooo much easier. You can do this! Best of luck to you.

Thanks Hopebaby and Lizbette :)
Today is day 4. I feel better than yesterday. It sure helps to read this forum during these rough days. I would normally have given up by now.
Have a great day.

Hey Elizabeth! I think we have a lot in common. I too, have a lot to lose. My tracker just shows my first goal. I honestly can't look at the whole thing. It's to overwhelming. I know I can lose 62 pounds and that would put me at 250. That to me is challenge enough at this time!

I just wanted to stop by and encourage you! I am on my first week also. We can and WILL do this together! Big hugs to you!
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Start Weight 326.7 ~ My short term goal will put me at 250!

Started June 19th 2008. First Mini Goal 76.7 pounds.

Thanks for the support Lizbette and Babytrace!

Thanks Sharon, yes we do have some in common. I started last year at 308 and went down to 270. I then fell off the wagon, gained back up to 298 and could not get back on for several months now. I am starting again last week. I haven't been perfect but 8 lbs I'll take. I usually try to do the complete plan but the 5 & 1 seems to be better for me because I'm serving dinner to the family and am able to eat also. My biggest challenge is to control that portion size. It is not easy to be a stay at home mom and be responsible for preparing meals for the family and not get off track. Also, not being able to flee from the house when I need to is tough sometimes ;) Its nice you have Tony on plan with you.
