Drinks!

Postby Zinkette99 » January 31st, 2006, 1:21 pm

So I was wondering... I am horrible at drinking water. Its very tough for me to get my 64 oz in every day. Are we allowed to put crystal light in it? I looked at the nutritional facts and there doesn't seem to really be anything in it...

OOOHHH YEAH you are! I love that stuff! If you look at the receipes you'll find that some even put a little of it in their shakes!

That is the only way I'm able to drink so much in one day :)

Yep, Crystal Light is A-OK!

I drinks lots of plain water but sometimes I want a little something too so I found the Crystal Light "On The Go" packets. I love em'!!!!!! Especially at work. It's so easy just to snip the top and pour it right in the water bottle.

What will they think of next!! :D

You have no IDEA how happy this makes me.

Sue I so agree, those crystal light on the go packets are a god send! So easy and it really makes a difference in how much water I can consume.

Just thought that I'd share, WalMart has a cheaper version of the crystal light "to go" packets. They are the same, just cheaper... those are the ones I buy! ha ha

Great to know!!! Thanks!! :guzzle:
I get mine at a Grocery Discount store so they're pretty cheap, but they don't always have them. I'll add it to my Wally World list for this month.

Zinkette, I've been told that the 64 oz. is pure unaltered water - that it's ok to have chrystal light, but it doesn't count as part of the 64 oz. Maybe we should get an expert to chime in here???????

Zinkette

If you do have to have 64oz of pure unaltered water they way that I get it in (not a big water fan but drink at least 120oz daily) is to put water bottles in the fridge and then about 30min before I am going to drink it I put it in the freezer so that ice forms in it and it makes it easier for me to get it down.

Hey Ashes!!

I drove up to our closest WalMart yesterday and spent 15 minutes cruising the aisles for the "OnTheGo' packets!! BUT I FINALLY FOUND THEM!! :hi5: They were tucked away on a bottom shelf and they had tons of them. Heck, no one could see them!! I bought 2 boxes of each flavor. 1/2 for home and 1/2 for work.

Thanks for the tip!!

Happy Shakin'

Just to chime in here...I have always been under the impression you should drink 1/2 gallon of water and then any additional drinks can be things like soda or Crystal Light.

Oh, I totally agree. I drink almost 2 liters of plain water everyday. If I want something extra or craving something sweet, that's when I use the Crystal Light.

Good point though!!
