Hi Donna,

Just checking in...I just got back from my walk into the hills and thought I had better check in before I finish my exercise this morning with a little time on my elliptical machine for toning. Gosh I was starving and had to have a snack.

Great to read you got your walk in and wonderful to see you have had a great week of weight loss.

Sorry biki - I gave you the short version. Yikes! I don't even know where to walk to make up such a big distance as 3.8 miles. Frankly, the dog is just now starting to get in shape - I think he could be holding me back, but I am not spunky enouch to go any further yet.

Just thought I would breeze by and say Hi!

What exercise tape are you using? My husband just handed me a box of tapes I had in the loft storage. Mostly THE FIRM and SLIM in 6 tapes. They were both so hard for me but I was 50 lbs heavier, maybe I will peek at them again. :roll:

Gained 11 lbs in Mexico 3/08, decided to lose that along with another 5 lbs!

I didn't get out to walk today had a sick kid and had to take to the doc.

Good Morning,

I'm leaving today for a trip and will not be back until Saturday night. I was busy yesterday running errands and did not work out. I'll get back into it as soon as I get home. I remember a time when I would not miss my morning workout but I'm not to that point yet.

Mickey, The Firm (with Susan ....can't remember last name) aerobic workout with weights is the tape I use. I believe it may be the first one they came out with. You can't really do it every day because it works upper and lower body at the same time. Or, I should say it's not good to do it every day because your muscles need a day to heal.

Glad to see you are exercising!

I have completed my week as a walking buddy! I am slightly under weather and so I only walked a 1/2 mile today.

I hope you will have a lovely time away!

Hey Donna,

How was your trip?

It's a new week and you have inspired me! I have added one of The Firm tapes to my workout and I am going to increase my walk from 2.5 miles to 2.75. (I came back and edited this after my walk...3.5 miles, average speed 3.44 miles per hour. I am using a new pedometer!)

Hi Donna! Welcome back from your trip. I asked Joy if I could be a walking buddy too! I didn't walk yesterday but Saturday I walked 1.6 miles(was having hip pain) and Friday walked 3 miles. Today I have no idea what the plan is because I finally have boobage support so are going on what I imagine wll be a combination of jogging and walking. I will keep the time and then map it on Gmaps Pedometer to see how far I went.

Can I join the walking buddies? I don't normally walk everyday since I do some other exercise on alternate days.

Hope you are back and safe and sound! You are probably busy after being gone for several days.
