Yaya! Dede, you have been MISSED! Of course I hate to hear it's been a struggle, but god, girl, this board needs some serious infusion of life - and I can't think of anyone better to give it!

Welcome back, kick some a**, and stick around this time, okay?

XOXO

Welcome back, Dede!! Don't EVER be embarrassed about coming back for help! It'd be more embarrassing to just STAY at that weight, right? Or worse, gain more?

Sorry about the circumstances, but glad to have you back! And congrats on quitting smoking!

Hello Dede!!!!

I'm still around, still doing MF, one of our children and their children returned home, so life has been much busier, much more stressful and I eat when stressed. Now working on removing the pounds I regained. This relearning on how to deal with stress/life changes without turning to food is hard... But I refuse to go back to where I began. (thumping my fist on the computer for added measure). LOL

Sorry to read that you've also regained some of your weight...but so glad to see you.

Hi everyone!
I'm sorry I took off, I was kind of hiding from those that would smack me into reality! I won't let it happen again!

I think I hit the zone yesterday! I got a burst of energy and the spring cleaning is commencing!

Thanks everyone for welcoming me home so nicely!

Okay, trumpets please!
I'm proud (and slightly embarassed) to say that I made it through the first week of my re-start with no cheats! I was rewarded with a 9.6lb loss! Yay! Why can't all weeks be like the first one?

That was my first goal, one weak, no cheating, no excuses, no BS and I did it! Now...I'm increasing the goal to one MONTH with no cheating, no excuses, no BS!

I feel like I got my groover back! I'm not nibbling, I'm not licking the TV screen when junk food commercials come on and I didn't cry yesterday at the gas station when the theatre size candy was on sale! I do believe I'm in the Medizone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All you other re-starters...let's get some life back in these boards, support each other and get to goal so we can transition and hang out with Lauren, Robin, T and the others in maintenance land! Who's with me? Charge!

Just remember, DeDe: Walking, whether it's "this journey" or a trip around the block, is good exercise.

Hey!!

Spring cleaning, hahahaha. Sure, that will happen here soon. Actually I am moving closer your way (sorta, but not really- Ahwatukee), so I have no choice but to clean begrudgingly as I pack.

Are you still only home a little but or at a new job with less traveling. I rememebr you changed jobs, but I couldn't remember the details. Seems like you are at home more, now, so you just have to keep with the swing of things there.

I still remember the day that picture of you (that is your avatar) was taken and you looked great then, so I can't imagine that you aren't just right around the corner from that again. You know where you want to go and how you liked being there, so it's just a matter of waiting and taking the time and persistence to get you there once again.

Good to see you back!

Welcome aboard Dede - I think summer weather is scaring people into restarting. It's helping me be ready to power through! Your first week was awesome and I hope you're feeling solidly in the Medizone.

Thanks for the comments, you have no idea how much it's helping!
I am home more Teresa, just trying to stay employed. Having trouble sleeping because I'm so worried about staying employed. Wonderful!

Ever have one of those weeks where you're lower on Friday than you are on Sunday without any cheats? That's what happened to me this week, but today I'm within .2 lbs of where I was Friday, so it's okay.

I'm thrilled to report that I'm today is day 12 of my re-start, no cheats. I think THursday the food dreams started (not even stuff I'm craving...mac & cheese, hot pockets, etc.)

Anyway, I've lost 4.6lbs since last roll call and 11.8lbs since I restarted 12 days ago. I couldn't be more thrilled!

I'm excited about my next goal (to get into the next club!). Hope everyone has a great week (I'm going to Milwaukee Wed), it'll be my first road test since the re-start (and catering test!) I'll do my best!

You're like master food packer, so I doubt there will be worries there. Do you find it easier on the road....less temptation? I am not away for many long periods of time, but I would think not being home would make it easier. I suppose unless you hit the stores and stock up. Hmmm

I am going away for a few weeks this summer and now that I think about it, since I am going to be with someone it might be harder not easier. More explaining than I would like.

So, have fun in Milwaukee. Not sure what its known for except Laverne and Shirley but I am sure there is an event you are heading to that will be amazingly fun !!!!!!
