Keep up the good work Cindy!! It's amazing how strong we woman are and how much we can actually handle. I too have loads on my plate - my 19 year old daughter is pregnant and her boyfriend is here in the states illegally - I am going to be a grandma at 40 - ouch!! I also just became a great aunt two weeks ago and another niece was due this past Sunday but has yet to have the baby. They are making me feel old...LOL!! Part of the company I work for has been bought out by another company and I have yet to hear if I am going to be part of that buy-out. It's probable but I may not find out until a couple days before the close of the deal. My brother was just recently in a really bad car accident - Praise God that God spared his life. I could go on and on. That's part of the reason why I started this program - I knew that I was under a lot of stress and it was at these times in my life that I would gain more weight - I just couldn't go through that again. We will be victorious over these weight issues!!!!

Thanks, everyone, for the support and the kind words. I just know that everything will work for the greater good...it always does.

SuzyQ...sounds like we are in the same dysfunctional boat right now...keep me posted on the job situation. I have felt old lately too...I have a son who just turned 20 on Monday...fortunately, haven't had to worry about grandkids yet. Boy, doesn't it stress us out when our kids have issues?

Cindy~ I'm sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing. You do seem to be handling things very well........but, don't feel bad if there are times when you just can't handle things and need to just release some emotions.

We're here for you if you need to talk.

Well, I am back from my trip, and I must say that my son picked out a REALLY nice apartment. We bought him new furniture so he will be ready to go on May 1st. He is really excited about living on a golf course. I think free golf was a necessity, at least according to him! Yes, he is spoiled rotten.

I stayed completely on plan while I was away, including during his birthday dinner. He and his girlfriend just had a fit when they saw me. They hadn't seen me since I restarted MediFast, so it was a shock to them. When I returned home, I weighed and guess what?? ONEDERLAND for me. I am a PROUD 198 pounds!!!

We put our precious cat, Angel, to sleep yesterday. I held her in my arms for 7 hours the night before. She was really ready to go and it was a special moment for me to be there with her. Hubby, on the other hand isn't handling it very well. As far as I know, he is still planning to get an apartment, but we haven't discussed it recently, so who knows?

All in all....Life is good.

Happy Wednesday :)

Cindy~ glad you enjoyed your trip and seeing your son. Good for you on staying compliant while on your trip. I know that is not an easy task. Oh.....and ONDERLAND! :woohoo:

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. I'm glad you were able to be there with her.

You've had quite the combination of sad and wonderful things going on in your life. To have the difficult times and not turn to food for comfort is great (if that is something you've struggled with in the past, like so many of us).

Congratulations on getting to Onederland!!!

well, once again, i'm back.....i have lost my job (found a new even better one), gotten a divorce and getting ready to have a hysterectomy....but i decided it was time to get back on program. I don't really have anything to add since I am only on Day 3. I guess I need to update my weight loss ticker. I hope you all are well.
