Oh My Goodness!!
Don't give up Remember you are doing this for other reasons too.. the ole sugar numbers. Your body will give up the pounds... it is just being very very stubborn this time.. :x It will ... just keep going!!! Be very very compliant and stay OFF the SCALE for a couple of weeks. That old thing can be sooooo discouraging. :x I stayed off it for three weeks ... knowing my temperment .. if I saw I had been very very compliant for a week and it didn't go DOWN I would have thrown it thru the bathroom window. :x Hmmmm my hubby is not a fan of that since he's the MR Fixit around our house. I'll keep an eye on you. 8) You will make it. :D Oh and here's the good news... the shakes have more soy that some of the other products... people who use more shakes seem to lose a bit faster.. .so see your body is trying to help you afterall. Try the shakes in a blender with ice .... that way you'll get a bit more. And drink them slowly so your hunger "center" has a chance to catch up to tell you you are full!!

I hear you. I wouldn't be too thrilled either. But I am glad you are committed to doing everything to trying!

Well....back to 204. I guess that's good. I am going out of town this weekend, so I am going to stay away from the scale. I think that might be a good thing. Did I mention that my hubby and I are separating? Yep, we decided night before last to be apart for awhile. I don't think I will want him back after he actually leaves....i guess we will see.

I am going to Memphis this weekend to spend some time with my dad. He is in a nursing home due to a brain injury from a car accident. But the high point of my weekend will be seeing my 16 month old nephew! I talked his parents into spending the night away from home so I could have that baby all to myself. Since my son is turning 20 on Monday, it's been a long time since I got to take care of a little one. I cannot wait!!

The following weekend I am going to Fayetteville, AR to visit my son at school. My mom is meeting me up there and then coming home with me for a week. I am really looking forward to spending time with my family. Jason is moving out of the fraternity house in May and getting his own apartment. We are going furniture shopping and I am excited about that.

Anyway, I hope this doesn't sound too much like a country song. It will all be good and I have some good things to look forward to over the next couple of weeks.

Happy Thursday kids :)

Why would you say that? I am very sorry about your break-up and your father but it sounds like you have some other areas of sunshine and support in your life. I have a feeling you will come through just fine.

Hi Cindy~

I know how you feel.....some days I ask myself the same thing. Am I invisible?

It sounds like you have a great deal on your plate right now. You sound like you are handling everything well......but, then again.......only you know how you are really handling things. I'm sure there has to be some stress going on as well.

There really isn't anything that I can say to help ease the pain and the stress you are going through right now. Just know that I am thinking about you and praying for you. (I'm not one of those people that say....I'll pray for you and then I never do......as a matter of fact......I stopped and prayed for you and your situation before I typed any of this.)

Your not invisible, Cindy.........I hear you........I just don't always know if I will have the right words to say. :hugblue:

Cindy, it sounds like you have some difficult things going on but it also sounds like you have a good outlook and that will, hopefully, keep you going through the tough stuff.

I wish you the best.

Well, I am back from my trip. The hits just keep on coming, I'm afraid. I am about to lose my dad and I took my cat to the vet yesterday and she told me it was time to put her to sleep. To top that off, I went to the doctor yesterday and I might have to have a hysterectomy. Actually, I have wanted one ever since I was 12 years old...I didn't want any part of those pesky periods. LOL. I have oral surgery scheduled for March 5th.

Now, for the GOOD stuff! I finally broke my plateau and I am down to 200 pounds exactly. That's 22.5 pounds off and I am loving it!! I did the full fast for only one day, but it seems to have helped me get off the 203-204 that I have been stuck on. ONLY 1/2 POUND TO ONEDERLAND!!!

I know that my life sounds pretty pathetic right now, but I am really doing fairly well. I haven't eaten out of sadness or stress and I don't have any regrets where my dad is concerned. I think that's a good thing. I have a few life changes ahead of me, but I am ready to get through them and move on.

I am going to see my son at school this weekend, so I have something to look forward to.

Happy Wednesday kids :)

Cindy, I'm so sorry to hear about all the things you are going through right now, but it sounds like your handling them like a trooper.

WooHoo....on your way to onederland....good for you.

Hang in there.
