I'm confused after reading the quick start guide

Postby pixiewhispers » May 3rd, 2006, 11:56 am

i'm confused after reading the quick start guide-they should have made a Quick Start Guide for Dummies! LOL!

Let's see if I have this right:

5 meal replacement can be: MF-Regular soups, shakes, oatmeal, bar (1 per day only) or pudding? Or is the pudding a snack? And the MF cappincino is it a freebie or does it count as a snack?

1 snack a day can be:MF-fast soups, crackers, pickles, sugar free jello, celery.

Is that right?

Boy my head is spinning and I know I am making this more complicated than it is. And I don't even have my order in YET!!!

LOL

Quick Start for Dummies - HAHAHHAHA!!! I agree!!

No, pudding, cappuccino, hot cocoa are all meal replacements. The only thing that is a snack is the MF Fast Soups and Crackers - those are not meal replacements. So you can have any combintion of the oatmeal, shakes, soup, chili, bar (one a day), pudding, cappu, cocoa, fruit teas, I think I got them all; and then your lean and green if you are doing the 5&1.

OK -- don't worry -- you will get it. You are right, you will eat 5 MF meals per day. You have your choice of a shake, oatmeal, chili, soup, pudding, hot cocoa, cappucino, chai tea latte, or a bar. You should eat only one bar per day and that should not be for your first or your last meal.

You will eat one L&G meal per day.

You may have one snack per day which would be: an MF Fast soup, MF crackers, a pickle, celery, or sf jello.

You should drink at least 64 oz of water -- preferably more. I've heard that 100 oz is desirable.

The MF pudding, latte & cappucinos are NOT snacks and they are NOT 'free'. They count as a meal.

It is confusing, especially when you are a little scared and when you want to do it right. Feel free to ask us, someone will always be here for you! You are going to do great!

Looks like you've been getting good advice, so far. Please feel free to post if you have any other questions b/c I know this can be daunting at first.

That was the first I have heard about your bar not being your first or last meal of the day.... I know I am only supposed to have 1 bar a day but didn't know that

Having your bar at specific times is not a MF rule, per se. Many people do this, though.
