Terry and Unca wear cumin crowns and cumin leis around their slender necks and little wristbands and anklets of cumin leaves. I hate it though because they drop little seeds all over the carpet as they cruise the hall on their way to the BR...

Well Nancy..........those little dropped seeds can be helpful in that they enable Terry and Unca to find their way back from the BR.

By the way.........is the BR the bedroom or the bathroom? .......or maybe the Bulgarian Rodeo?..........or the Bavarian Racetrack?.........or the Boston Redsox?...............hmmmmmmmmmmm......ya gotta wonder about those acronyms..........ya just never know.

Well, I suppose Inquiring Minds do wanna know...it is the Bath Room!

Yeah, Hansel and Gretel, wearing their shrunken shirts with belly button exposure follow the seed trails from their office to the BR and back to their office.

Naturally they never vacuum their seed droppings unless threatened by the sensuous Leopard Woman.

I had better success the second time around. I nuked the chili on half power (5) for 2 1/2 minutes, stirred, added chili powder and onion flakes, and let it sit for a while. Then I refrigerated it for most of the day. I added more water and reheated it, then crumbled crackers in it. It still wasn't quite right, so I sprinkled a little equal on it, and it was perfect. (I like my chili a little bit sweet). Yum!

Thanks for all your suggestions!

Mmm, CUMIN!

I just made myself some chili - added garlic powder, a whole dried red pepper, cumin (of course) and chili powder. Nuked at 50% for 8 minutes. Crushed up a bag of MF crackers to put on top too.

Delish! :bib:

Dinner is served... no crunchy beans either and no lengthy soak in the fridge to make them tooth-squishable! ;)

I love the chili! I do have to cook it a lot longer than directed though. Usually about 6-8 minutes more at 50% power.

As far as improving the taste: I use about 6 oz of water instead of 4, a dash of salt and Louisiana hot sauce -lots of it for me, enough to make your nose run. :bib:

The chili's also great on shredded lettuce -think taco salad.

Folklore

Superstition during the Middle Ages cited that Cumin kept chickens and lovers from wandering. It was also believed that a happy life awaited the bride and groom who carried Cumin Seed throughout the wedding ceremony.

Well ladies, as you can see, cumin has magical powers. If you are plagued with wandering lovers............or worse yet, wandering chickens...........simply sprinkle some cumin on em' when they ain't lookin!
