Well.....after reading several journals, I have decided to write one of my own.

I am a married mother of two great boys, 7 and 10. Because of health reasons, my mother lives with us. If anyone stress eats.......it's ME!! :lol: I mean.....come on.....my mother and husband live in the same house!!! :shock: Although they love each other, space is invaded OFTEN. But we wouldn't have the living arrangements any other way.

I have been teaching PreKindergarten for 19 years, four of those with handicapped three year olds. Right now, I am on a medical sabbatical until August. I had back surgery #3 on Jan.2. I had a cyst removed from my spinal cord. New xrays show that removing it caused a disc to slip out of alignment! :x LUCKY ME !!! So, obviously I am doing this for health reasons...and the fact that if someone else asks me when I'M DUE again......I'll choke them. :aarggh: I usually just answer July 30, 1999. :lol: Really confuses them, then when they figure it out, they start apologizing. It's happened about 3 times, and I don't want it to happen again.

I started FOR GOOD on Monday, March 5. So far...so good! I have been a "NO CHEATIN' CHICK" ! :whoohoo: I didn't get my water in yesterday, but I'm going to get it in today! We are leaving in a few minutes for the beach house in Galveston. A little R&R for the family. I have my own little bag packed of "Medifastically Safe" food. I have a case of water :guzzle: , and an ice chest with green veggies and SF Jello. Oh! Can't forget the new Danielle Steele and Nora Roberts books!!! I don't eat when I read! ;)

I would really appreciate all of the encouragement that I can get. I really want this to work for me....or should I say...me work for it! I know I can do this. I'm so mad that I've let myself be this size for so long. I mean, come on!...can't blame it on baby weight anymore.........he's SEVEN!!!

I enjoy reading everyone's posts here! I'm looking forward to joining in on the fun. Thanks! for taking the time to respond to me.

hee hee... chelle, you are a kick to read :). You seem like you are in the right frame of mind, you are at the right place at the right time, and you have found the right program. Everything is lined up for you, you don't have to worry over it, you just have to keep walkin' the walk !

In the meantime, keep journaling because you are a joy to read and it's a great way to keep yourself on track. Hope your weekend is safe, enjoyable, and very relaxing :).

Just popping in to tell you you've come to the right place. You have about the same amount of weight to lose as I did. I stuck to the program like glue and it worked for me.

It takes awhile, but you can do it!

I survived SPRING BREAK at the beach! :shock: I had NO IDEA that it was spring break in South Louisiana! For those who don't know the CAJUN WAY........a seven coarse meal is 2 shots of Hot Damn, 3 Coors Lights, and 2 large Crown and Cokes! :lol: So all of the partying people were at Galveston this weekend!

It was beautiful weather, and such a great time to rest! I have two chapters to finish my DS novel.......saving them for the jacuzzi tonight!

I did really well. I'm not going to weigh until in the morning, and will post my loss then. I feel like I did good, but I can't tell because my hands and feet always swell down there. I promise to post in the am. I can't wait to see how I did.

I feel horrible. :x ......I was WEAK......... :table: My best friend ( since college) called today and asked me to go eat Chinese. OHMIGOD!!!! :tears: Chinese is my weakness!!! So now I sit here feeling most like S**T!!! I feel nauseated :puke: . Don't think that I'll try that again! :oops: Not to mention the fact that now that I'm out of ketosis, I have to spend the next 3 days with a headache again!!! :dooh:

Oh well...........as my hero, SCARLETT, would say.........Tomorrow IS another day! :whistle:

I can't wait for my new shipment to get here........I miss my RTDs! :sadblue: I am so ready to get back into the swing! I feel like a dummy! :dohdoh: I made it thru the weekend......and screwed up today!!! :aarggh:

I know now that I'll feel like a big pile of POOP if I eat off plan again! So the feeling in my stomach will remind me not to cheat again!!!

Tomorrow will be different!! I promise!! :goodluck:

Glad you are determined to get right back on the MF wagon. Making the choice to go off plan happens ... but stewing in guilt sometimes makes becoming compliant harder. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off ...

Thanks! Mary! I'm not going to dwell on it too much. :| I know that I will be successful with this. My goal is still to be down 20 pounds by the end of the month, and I've already made 8.4! :D in just one week. :yay: So.......here's to Hot Cocoa for breakfast! :lol:

I'm SOOO proud of myself! :yippee:

I woke up with my hubby this am at 1:30....couldn't get back to sleep until about 3........got up to take the boys to school.......came home and CRASHED!!! I woke up at 11:30!!! :oops: I've NEVER slept like that before.

So......when I got up and realized that I had missed 2 meal times, I was discouraged about today! Then.........lo and behold........that good looking man in the cute shorts pulled into my driveway baring MFood!!! :boing:

I ran to get it unpacked! I KNOW what's in it... :scratchhead: BUT... it's still like Christmas!!! :yay: As I unpacked.......I remembered ordering the sample of the scrambled eggs. Perfect......I couldn't wait to try it, so it started my day off right! :cheermed:

I have to say........the eggs are...........MEDIFASTICALLY DELICIOUS!!! :mrgreen: I was afraid to order the whole box, because I'm really picky, and didn't like the chili or soups. But.............I LOVE THE EGGS!!!

I'm well on my way today to another MFing good day!!! :kool:
