so I weighed in this morning at an even 280. It's kinda weird to say, but I was disappointed. Considering how much I had lost the first few days I was hoping to lose more. Haha, I think its hilarious that I'm disappointed I ONLY lost 1 lb in a day

On a more rational and less insane note...

Today looked like:

Scrambled Eggs w/ 1 tsp ketchup @ 7:30

Chicken & wild rice soup w/ hot sauce @ 10:30

Fruit and Nut bar @ 2:45 (I had taken a nap after meal 2)

Chili w/ hot sauce @ 5

Salmon steak w/ lime juice & pepper, 1/2 cup cucumber, 1 cup celery @ 7

Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal @ 9:30

No snacks, no sodas. Didn't swim today.

Happy father's day to all the fathers out there!

Funny how that works, huh? It is always good to know that the hard work wasn't in vain. Congratulations on your early success!

thanks everyone

cyd - yeah, its definately nice to know that it wasn't in vain. If I had lost nothing afterwards I'd have been a little bit upset, but biology is biology.

On a non-weight-loss note - anyone paying attention to the U.S. open?

I was trying to keep track of the U.S. Open a bit online this afternoon. Quite dramatic, huh? I have to say - I don't follow golf a whole lot, but I am a big fan of athletes who don't give up. I am psyched that Tiger won!

hey all -

so I'm back now. About a week ago I had a little fling with outside food - whoops! I just got really hungry late at night, couldn't go to sleep and made some food. So for a couple days thats what happened and I gained a bit of weight back. Didn't want to come back to the forum till all was well and lost, so right now I'm back on plan and am 2 lbs lighter at 276. Hopefully I'll do a much better job this time - its just that the late night cravings got to me! anyway, no more of that nonsense

I understand about those head cravings. Remember, when you think you are hungry on this program, its probably not hunger... just drink something. If you must make something, have another Medimeal.
It could also be from the exercise. Remember, when you start the program, you are supposed to either not start exercise, or cut your exercise in half for the first 3 weeks. Exercise uses the calories we take in, and then we don't have enough to sustain our bodies during the transition on this plan.

Glad you are back, and remember, this is a support forum. When we have these difficulties is when we should be coming here for support. Please don't feel like you don't want to be here when things aren't going well. Thank kinda defeats the whole purpose. We are all here for you when its good or bad.

Have a great Sunday.

Yeh, I usually find I come on the forum MORE when I find myself off program, it helps me... altho I usually just lurk until my little problem is over and then I rant about it in my journal

I have serious trouble with late night eating myself, even when I'm NOT hungry... my binging takes over  but I'm working on it!!!

congrats on getting back on track, just remember that we're here for you whether you're on plan or not!

thanks for the support guys. yeah, im not sure why i didnt come when i was off plan. maybe just feelin guilty or something.

anyway, yesterday looked like

momentum cappuccino @ 11

Scrambled eggs w/onions @ 1

Blueberry oatmeal @ 3

Beef Stew @ 5

Steak and cucumber @ 7

choco pudding @ 9

woke up today and am at 274.7. So I lost 2 lbs since yesterday (was 276.7)

funny thing is i weigh myself right before i go to sleep, and then right after i wake up just to see how much weight i lose while sleeping. its astonishing!
